This review is only for their Menudo. I've eaten my share, n this is one of the best in this area. Flavorful soup, clean tripe, n no hominy. Unfortunately, it's only made on Saturday n Sunday. Sometimes only Sunday. Call ahead so u don't waste a trip
This place has carne asada burritos for 3.99 and the champurrado is the best...super delicious! The prices are cheapest around, n very tasty ...the wait can be long cuz its cooked ti order right away
Authentic food and great service. This place is packed to the gills. If you are looking for real Mexican food, this is for you.
I had a burrito and my wife tried their house tacos. My wife rarely appreciated tacos nor burritos. This time she did like both since she also took a bite of my burrito. The cashier which happens to be the owner is very courteous and helpful in helping to decide what to order. He is very patient in explaining and describing the tacos and burritos. There's only a few sitting spot but you'll notice there's a lot of to go orders which speaks of how good this place is. Very casual outdoor place and anything goes.
La Puente Food Guide: 10 Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in La Puente
This is a very old taco and burrito place. I'm not sure what is their style of food but you could say it is an Americanize version of street tacos. Don't get me wrong - they are really good. But don't expect the street taco version. They put a lot of Monterey jack a and sour cream un request on all items. They are good and filling. They stay open until about 2 or 3 in the morning.

Just look at this delicious burrito you love it here. I got the burrito early at 10 in the morning craving one. Thank goodness this isn't far from my house. Just remember it's straight Cash $$$ here. Everything that they make here is really good but I'm a burrito person
Where to eat Seafood food in La Puente: The Best Restaurants and Bars
it took a few tries at different menu items to finally find the winning dish......the shredded beef burrito with the green sauce instead of the red sauce. probably THE BEST burrito i've ever eaten! the amount of meat inside is enough to fill other restaurants' burritos 2 and a half times. the chips and salsa are tasty. one of the things i don't like about this place is that they charge for refills on sodas and they 'nickel and dime' you with charging for sides of sour cream. the service is extremely friendly. the atmosphere? think regal beagle from the 70's sit-com "three's company". it's definitely dated but that kinda doesn't matter cuz the burritos are so good. other items our family has tried and loved: the pork chile verde burrito, taquitos, albondigas (meatball soup) and shredded beef burrito with the red sauce. we would absolutely recommend this place to others.
Gotta love real Mexican drive thru. I love the wet burrito. They got bomb flautas. The green sauce is very good. They use decent ingredients and have a lot really comprehensive menu. Really glad thud opened up by my parents' house!

This restaurant has zero curb appeal as it sits in a humble and unkempt strip mall with the Goodwill store as the main anchor. But walk into a cheerful and warmly laid out space. Everything here from the chips and salsa to the hand painted murals feels homemade and like a well run family operation The salsas margaritas and tortillas taste like they are from scratch and in general you can tell that they don't rely on canned sauces and spices. True this place still uses the old time refried beans, enchiladas and Spanish rice formula (that good old hangover food everyone craves sometimes)but they also have many fresh and novel items which indicates a chef with some adventure. Try at least one of the seafood items and one of the soups (meatball if you are not vegetarian) you will love the daily fresh salsas and homemade chips. Don't forget to have a margarita with the salt and chile edge! Ole

Our favorite is their bean and cheese burritos--best we've had anywhere in the country. You place your order at the counter but a server will bring it to your table and refresh your drinks.
