This place is hopping. See the photo. It is small (only about 10 tables) so make a reservation and get there early to avoid the crowds (at 11:30 it was vacant). Minestrone soup is delicious. Caesar salads are not very interesting, so I'd skip it. Pasta dishes looked excellent. The server was knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful.

I never tire of the pizza from this plate. Always delicious, always fresh, and always a good value for money. I don't know what else to say about it. If you are looking for great deep dish pizza, this is the best in the South Bay at least according to me!!!

Il Fornaio is renowned for its authentic award winning Italian cuisine. Specialties include wood-fired rotisserie and grilled meats, poultry and game; housemade pastas; pizzas from an oak wood burning oven; fresh salads and housemade soups; a wide variety
We really enjoyed the food. The salmon with pistachios was cooked perfectly and delicious. The congjighle was very good as was the ravioli and carpaccio appetizer. We were bothered by the many fruit flies and nats inside the restaurant throughout dinner, once they finally tunrned on the AC, they went away. Server was very nice and helpful. Not the prettiest Il Fornaio but nice, difficult parking in very crowded parking lot.

We are a NY pizza shop. We serve slices and whole pies. I moved out here from NYC back in 1998 and within a couple of months, I started talking about a pizza shop. I wasnât going to leave my hi-tech job to do it, but when corporate life was no longer for
Very authentic New York. The decor, the pizza (delicious) and the buzzing atmosphere. There are a couple of seats to eat there - but this is a take out, not a restaurant. The pizza is excellent - if you like NYC style thin crust of course. Thanks for coming in and trying is out....and for taking the time to write a review on our shop.We really appreciate the effort and support!Kind regards,-Kirk GM, A Slice of New York

We went to Tomatina after we went to the movies. Service was good.We enjoyed ministerone soup. For my main I had cheese ravioli - it was very good with a nice tomato sauce. My husband had the Piadine flatbread. He chose the salmon version. It is made of chilled herb-roasted salmon, fennel, tomatoes, zucchini, red onions, baby arugula, caper aioli and lemon vinaigrette. Both meals were tasting and filling.

I was visiting CA from NYC and was here almost two weeks. I needed a good pasta fix and Piatti delivered. I enjoyed a nice Riesling while they prepared my pasta dish. They delivered an excellent pasta dish, warm bread and professional service. I enjoyed every bite of my pasta and even sopped up the sauce with the bread. After dinner I enjoyed an Amaretto on the rocks. Very nice dining room. Dining alone I chose to eat at the bar which was very nice. Outdoor seating available during warmer weather. Parking can be a challenge, but you will find a spot with some effort. An enjoyable meal and I will surely visit again when in the area.

Voted Best Italian Food In Silicon Valley in 2019 in the San Jose Mercury News, Vito's provides authentic home-made recipes whose aroma greets you as soon as you walk in. The atmosphere takes you back to Renaissance Italy. Generous portions of fine pastas
We came here our first night in town because it was close to our hotel. We came back a second night because it was so good ! My wife has the Shrimp Scampi and I tried the pizza, which was one of the best Iâve ever had. Second evening I tried the pasta with Italian sausage which was perfectly spiced and wonderful. The service on both occasions was attentive and efficient. Ambience is more businesslike in the front portion of the restaurant and slightly more romantic in the back.

Dropped in for a Sunday evening bite, you canât book but luckily they could fit us in. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, our waiter almost knocked our bottle of wine over, luckily my colleague caught it and a few drops were splashed, waiter was mortified and came back with a ticket for dry cleaning if we needed it. Nice bruschetta shared appetiser and very pleasant pizza to follow. Service was very prompt and all in all very enjoyable.

Mio Vicino was established in 1992 and still remains a local tradition. Whether you were here for the first time ever or for the third time this week, you will always find amazing food, friendly service and a buzzing atmosphere that will keep you coming b
Was told by staff member at nearby office that the place was very popular so went there for a quick lunch. Ordered pizza and soup, but was pretty slow in coming. My wife pushed for it, and the manager had to tell us that the chef had burnt the pizza and they were cooking another. I said I could take it away. The manager brought the burnt one - it was not too bad with decent quality ingredients and generous topping without overdoing it, but definitely overdone. I was then brought the follow up pizza in takeaway box. The soup was very good as was the bread. They did not charge for either pizza -so a very good recovery service by the manager. The next door table's pasta looked very good with decent quantity and what looked like a rich sauce - the guests gave the thumbs up. Atmosphere was nice, so will venture south for an evening meal or take a small group from work as parking is fine.

Last time I reviewed Maggiano's I considered it "not the greatest". With this last visit I'm much more favorably impressed. The hostess was very accommodating in finding us a better table in the crowded restaurant, the service was great and the food, plentiful as usual, was very good as was the wine.
