We always enjoy take out- and tonight was no exception. Large portions easily shared. Spaghetti & Meatballs 8.5/10 Pasta prepared perfectly for take out. Meatballs always taste great and have a nice texture. Eggplant parmigiana 8.5/10 Best in the area but suffers a bit from "cooked earlier" flavors. Broccoli side was fresh and not to oily. Have to mention the one piece of 2X2" bread - must be watching their carbs as qty/size didn't fit with the generous entree portions. Total cost $34 w/o tip Highly recommend supporting our local gem!

The Appetizer is fabulous. Their pizza and sandwiches are so tasty. Everything is made fresh daily, lots of choices and coldest beer! The staff is awesome, so friendly and this is a family owned business for many, many years. I would recommend The Appetizer to anyone and I'll definitely be a repeat customer!

An unusual and charming restaurant right off the Pacific Coast Highway. If you are a first timer your server will tell you it's a "family restaurant" with BIG portions. He was not kidding. But they have lots of boxes for you to take home the rest. The decor is very 30s-50s italian with long tables, leather banquets, and lots of boxing pictures along with the movie stars. I looked at others eating "specialties" like chicken canalloni, but decided to try simple, comparable fare -- spaghetti and meatballs. The whole bowl and each meatball was huge. The spaghetti was a perfect al dente and the meatballs marvelously seasoned. A winner. However, I am subtracting a star because the spaghetti was not colundared, leaving water in the bottom of the bowl. Naughty. But, it was very busy so there might have been a rush. All in all, if you like Italian food and are in Redondo Beach, and have a good appetite, you will like Buca di Beppo.
This place is located at the corner of a small road, near a fire station and a mechanic store. There are no other eateries around the area and so we thought the food should be average. My kids and I decided to try it anyway since they were complaining of hunger last week. To our amazement, the pizza was simply the best ( toppings of sauages, fresh tomatoes) and their french loaf heaven. We never ever thought that we could have such good pizzas and fresh loaf in LA. A must try for all living around the RPV area.
Dominick's is like your friendly neighborhood joint for pizza and pasta. All the servers are super friendly and always happy that you are there. Their portions are huge, though. I can't finish an "on the lite side" entrees. I like their basic spaghetti with meatball very much, if I had an Italian grandmother that's what her Sunday meals would taste like. Special Note: look for their monthly prime rib dinner, usually the first weekend of the month. The prime rib is about the size of your head, but every bit of it is super tender and infused with great flavor. Share it, and then take some home.

Enjoyed eating here. They have a great range of pizzas but this evening we opted for lasagne and another pasta dish. Both were really good. The dessert was also excellent (cannoli); food was made to order and fresh. Service was very good; waitress friendly and helpful.

Burattino Brick Oven is a top-rated pizzeria in South Bay and the recipient of the 2017 Yelp Award. Recently profiled in Los Angeles Business Journal and LA Weekly, owner/chef Lee Kim is one of the most innovative and exciting pizza chefs in Los Angeles.
Most pizza places use a mass-production assembly line to make their products. Pavich's, on the other hand, uses the "old school" method of making each and every pizza individually. You can taste the difference! The chef/owner has also created an amazing selection of original signature pizza combinations. We especially like the vegetarian and the San Pedro Special. Although the prices at this place are considerably higher than anywhere else, having a GREAT pizza is a luxury you can afford.

I found this restaurant on Trip Advisor We went on the reviews. And though there was only 8 they all were excellent. I agree this is the best restaurant I have been to in California. Unfortunately California has never been a good place to find Italian food. Certainly not a Boston or Chicago. I travel to California regularly and have found most restaurants here are big on the earthy crunchy but lack substance. Not the case here. The food, the service and surprisingly the price were excellent. If you come to Rancho Palo Verde an especially if you stay at Terranea save your money and go here for a great meal. It's only 10 minutes away, but it is far and away the best Italian food you will have on the West Coast. We had chicken parm and eggplant parm (eggplant was very uniquely prepared. A house specialty.) Fresh al dente vegetable and homemade pastas. Desserts again well priced, homemade and delicious, made us have to loosen on belts. It was worth it. In fact we made reservations to return again tomorrow night. That's how good it was.

Avenue Italy features authentic Italian food, rustic wine, and an atmosphere that takes you straight to Italy.
Came here on Monday evening for early supper with family including 2 grandchildren ages 5 and 3. We were seated at a table within sight of TV for basketball finals and kitchen. Water and warm herb bread and gluten free bread was served. Drink orders were taken including bottle of Bill Murphy Goode Cab. which was excellent. Spaghetti Con Polpette was ordered for the children and served quickly. We enjoyed Ceasar salads. All adult entrees were excellent.
