I went for slices for a slightly late dinner and thought this place was pretty decent. It was a little dried out, but it might have been a factor of the time of day. There were also a few seats at the counter if you want to eat it on the spot.

Complete with subtle song stylings of live music (from a talented piano man), and very knowledgeable wait staff, this is a cozy restaurant that serves up some really impressive Italian food: the pastas are all fantastic and many dishes have an original spin so itâs not all your usual and familiar menu. For example, an amazing vegetarian option is the spaghetti with braised lentils- like a meatless Bolognese sauce that was buttery and savory. Nice fruity cocktails, perfect for this beach-adjacent location. Great service and fun place!

The best meal we had in Los Angelos. I had veal.My husband had branzino. We had such a hard time choosing what to get .Everything was so special. Right down to the bread and Tiramsu . Thank you for such wonderful sevice and meal.

I love the caprese!! Itâs actually a Napolean, a layered Caprese with thin bread/lavosh as one layer, then mozzarella, then tomato... repeat, repeat. They then drizzle pesto instead of leafy basil. Itâs beautiful, creative and tasty.I enjoyed a delicious mushroom and sausage risotto while my friend had an incredible cheese ravioli topped with scrumptious mushrooms. My daughter chose the farfalle in a creamy sauce with chicken and peas, always a favorite.Sapori is incredible and it is a good restaurant each and every time we go, which is every time and we go to Marina del Rey!!The restaurant is a very short drive from any of hotels on Admiralty Way.Easy parking, the restaurant validates the ticket to discount the parking rate.

My wife and I had lunch here today and we both had the $18 lunch special that includes an appetizer and either a sandwich, pizza, or pasta. Before I get into comments on the food lets talk 5 star service, it was clearly that, not intrusive but prompt and proper.Food wise- I had the Tuna Salad and Bolognese and both were delicious.My wife went simple with a Cesar salad and a not tomato paste pizza and she called both a great choice.At $18 each both were a great value.This place is a 10-15 minute walk from the main Santa Monica pier, but oddly enough wasn't filled with tourist like us, but rather locals who were obviously regulars.I guess most travelers don't actually research where to get great food... which is sad.

Though pricey and small portions, just order enough and you won't leave hungry :) Staff is very friendly, ambiance is great, though very loud. For people with hearing problems (1 in our company) a tough place to talk and listen. We nevertheless enjoyed it very much and will be back.

We were a party of 7 celebrating 2 birthdays. As previously stated in other reviews the garlic knots were yummy. While the appetizers seemed a little "light" of food for the cost, the main meals were plentiful and very, very good. The sole was the evening special and just excellent!! However, what really stood out was the service. We had brought in 2 birthday cakes which we asked the staff to put in the kitchen, which they easily did. At the right time, they brought out the cakes for "the blowing out of the candles," and then returned the cakes to the kitchen to cut slices from both cakes for each of us. They even washed the plate I had brought from home!!! Just perfect! There is plentiful valet parking for $6.50 in the back parking lot, and the staff will take photos of your group during the evening which are available for sale. Overall, just a very lovely evening out.
