Amazing terrace for the summer, with the best view of Tiburon! Inspired by the warm hospitality and the culinary delights of Southern Italy, this family-owned restaurant specializes in authentic Italian food made with fresh, organic, local ingredients. Lo
Food was good and priced fairly. Service was excellent and we were there on a Sunday night in April. Location lends itself to going for a walk after your meal or perhaps some shopping prior. Lot's of other choices in the area as well if your winging it last minute and trying to find a spot. We were winging it and called ahead a few hours earlier when we knew we would be in the area during dinner time. I want to put in a bunch of descriptive words here but bottom line is we were from far away and yet felt very comfortable here, like we'd been here before. The staff are part of that but it is more and a combination of all the things people are normally looking for. Hi There - Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience and leave us a review. We are glad you enjoyed your experience and that our staff made you feel welcome and comfortable. Went for brunch with hubby (his birthday) and adult daughter. Asked for and got a lovely window table. Such a pretty place. So...could the waiter have said a quick Happy Birthday? Just saying. Sweet waiter...but..could he have brought the vegetarian Benedict that the birthday âboyâ asked for instead of him having to return it? Fruit plate is huge and delicious. Benedict not great but potatoes were. Focaccia a hit. Mixed bag. Not yearning to return...

Bruschetta served on fresh bread and grilled on one side only. Generous portions and the parmesan cheese was very good. Shrimp Louie was clean and served on crispy lettuce. Carbonara nicely prepped, creamy and accompanied by actual pancetta. 2 wines, 2 beers, out the door at $83.00. Nothing spectacular but a clean place,

We have been eating here for over 60 years and still love â¤ï¸ it! We first ate here when we were dating and now we have been married 63 years! The food and service never disappoint. All the dishes are wonderful and well prepared. We particularly love the Dore seafood dishes. Very popular with local folks. You canât go wrong with Marin Joeâs! Not trendy, just the real deal!

Enjoyed brunch with friends. Nice hot bread with olive oil and balsamic arrived immediately and drink orders. My caprese salad was excellent. Friends were pleased with their salads, soup, and breakfast dish. Not cheap but lovely decor and great for visiting.

Finally, an Italian restaurant that doesn't just serve the same old food as all of the others in Marin. The menu includes classic dishes, but also has some great variations, which are delicious. The service was friendly, and the owner Fabrizio came by the table and poured us our wine himself. The chef dropped by and asked how we liked his food, and it seemed like the staff really wanted to please us. I had the Branzino, which was, frankly the best I have had. My wife had the seared Ahi, and the onion soup. Herr onion soup was so delicious that I had to order one myself. This was the best meal I had in the last month and we go out to eat a lot. Marin County is lucky to have this new spot and the new menu. I will definitely go back.

This is NOT a trendy Italian restaurant for high tone foodies. This is a traditional Italian American restaurant with big flavors and loyal customers playing cards on a sunny afternoon. I enjoyed lunch with a friend. She had the special, sautéed chicken in a cream sauce with pasta and artichokes, more of an American version than Italian, that she really loved. I order the gnocchis in a "pink" sauce (also more American than Italian) and throughly enjoyed them. House made, the gnocchis were light and flavorful, much superior to the doughy, rubbery verities often found in neighborhood restaurants. Service was a tad on the slow side to start, we were forgotten on terrace until my friend retrieved the waiter, but then improved. The terrace, although off a busy street, proved to be a nice spot for al fresco dinning. Boun appetito!

I want to give you 4 stars but I can't. Let's start with we ordered this food to go. Two pizzas - the Margherita and the Son of Yeti. I opted to add tomato sauce to the Yeti. They were both good, nice crust but undercooked. Two salads - the Baby Lettuce, with Marcona almonds, (but where were they?) and the Caesar. My big complaint is with the Caesar, whole pale green Romaine lettuce leaves, not cut, I know that's a trend but it's not one I like. And where was the egg? And really, frankly, just a breath of Parmesan cheese - for $12 ! Okay, but could use improvement.

We are regulars on the weekend with a 3 year old and a baby- grandparents, parents and the preschoolers. We go for early dinner at 4 when itâs quiet and love to sit outside. The staff are very supportive as it difficult with a toddler so we need fast service and this always happens. The food is delicious as is the wine. The menu caters for everyone. We sometimes eat here as a couple without the grandchildren and it is wonderful. Highly recommended.
