Food here is wonderful including great pasta for gluten free members of our party. No bread choices for gluten free but the bread eaters said the bread was great. Delicious marinara sauce and huge meatballs plus giant calzones meant leftovers for everyone in our 6 person group. The salads were fresh and tasty. Service was fast and friendly. We enjoyed every bite. You will too.

Come enjoy the Italian atmosphere at the Original Peppino's. You can still see the family working at this location: Mom loves greeting you and seating you at your table. Dad, the big flirt, loves to visit with all the customers. Be sure to stop in to Joe'
Huge portions, good price. Family atmosphere and live music on a Saturday night. I enjoyed my meal. Service was fast and attentive. I had the white clam sauce with angel hair and bruschetta. For a single person it was way too much food, however i can see it good forfamilies and ordering to share.

So, this is a local favorite. Their pizza's are huge. A popular pizza is their Mediterranean Greek gourmet which has all the flavors that please your palette and make you want more. Meat is not necessary for this pizza, it's so good! For a small personal pizza, their white cheese is excellent. Simple, tasty, flavorful. We love their meat pies, but if you're looking for non-meat they actually have a great selection. I suggest you try their variety of pizza by the slice and try something new. I have to say we've even taken to some potluck type parties their Garlic Knots with marinara sauce on the side, arranged on a platter in the shape of a tree. Great for holiday Christmas parties. The Antipasto Salad w/olive oil dressing is a filling salad and or dinner dish, especially during warm summer days when cooking or heavy foods are just a bit much. This is always a hit for outdoor pool party gatherings! We also really enjoy their Calzones. Our favorites are the make-your-own as they are filled with goodness and always served with warm marinara sauce on the side for dipping each bite. We have out-of-town guests that often request when in the area. The Italian sub is also another of our favorites to order on-the-go and take for a picnic at the amazing local parks in the area, or the beach and harbor which is 10 minutes away. Tip: have them toast the bread so it stays longer (bread doesn't get so soggy if not eating right away), especially if picnic boating at Dana Point marina.Eating at this location is okay as it's very casual dining. Seating inside is fine. Staff is friendly. They are located inside a small strip mall set-up. Parking is quick and easy as most locals get their orders to go. It's family neighborhood friendly, as many locals run into this spot and love to "chat" while hanging out waiting for their orders. They are really good about timeliness on your call in pick-up orders, which is hugely important for event parties. The local market is in the same parking lot for that last minute party supply run and then get your pizza. Absolutely recommend this place, even if I want to be stingy in sharing about this place. I realize I want them to stay in business for a very long time! They are freeway close (12-15 min from 5 fwy south) and they're Beach and Dana Point Harbor close (10 min. away off Golden Lantern to PCH) as well. Date Night Tip: Pick up order of Calzones (expect about 15-20 min. once order is placed) before heading out for an outdoor picnic bench meal (requires a fork and knife to eat with, make sure you get with your order, you'll need to sit at a table for this) take a votive candle/small tablecloth/wine and glasses and boom, you've got dinner at the island marina! Then, go for a relaxing stroll around the island...Nothing better than California outdoor living style any day of the week!

Weekend Breakfast,Lunch, and Dinner at Delizie offers homemade pastas, imported Italian delicatessens served on butcher blocks, and the freshest fish and meats daily as well as an extensive listing of wines from California and Italy. Delizie also features
Overly salted and with excessive amounts of garlic. If you find that appealing, this is your place. The portions are VERY large. Again, if thatâs your idea of good, this is your place. The menu looked good online, but it didnât work for us.

Recently had dinner with friends here for the first time. Heard this was an Argentine restaurant that specialized in parillada, (grilled), dishes Argentinian style plus a lot of Italian dishes. Had the filet...piece was very large...tasty, but not like steak in Buenos Aires. Chimichurri was good...like it more piquant however. Another ordered the flap meat and thought it was great. Dishes came with roasted papas...most restaurants in BsAs serve various forms of papas fritas...was good though. Pasta dish of Angel hair checca was one big glob of congeled pasta was rather unpalatable. Also tried the sweetbreads, (mollejas)...several very large pieces...very stringy. Was not prepared well. Should melt in your mouth. Nothing like those in BsAs. Service was good and ambiance fair. Too noisy in the center of the room...suggets a booth along the perimeter. I understand there is Tango night...not sure when. Suggest going here only for the grilled meats. Did bring a bottle of great Malbec...corkage was reasonable at $15. Over all pricing was moderate. Of course if the restaurant was as good as those in Argentina there would be no reason to visit Buenos Aires. I will always look forward to going to BsAs to get wonderfully grilled meats accompanied by a great Malbec.

Sambuca is not very big, but the food is special. Lots of the customers are âregularsâ who dine there almost every week. Parties larger than four can encounter long waits for a table, especially on weekend nights. The wine list is a bit limited, but the selections are good and prices are attractive. We tried Spinach Salad and the Balsamic Mediterranean Salad. Both were ample sized portions of very fresh greens with just the right amount of dressing. All of us had pasta entrees, and all three were terrific. my favorite was the Black Linguine Lobster, but the Seafood Linguine and the Lobster Ravioli Gorgonzola were both excellent.

I love this restaurant. The ambiance is good, the food always great, and prices are reasonable. I eat here regularly and never get tired of the delicious Italian food. The pizzas are cooked in a wooden oven and always good. My favorite is their short rib tortellini! They have quite a variety of Italian dishes, as well as the specials they offer.Grazie!

Since 1991. The Fresh Italian Food Experience. We combine our friendly atmosphere with attentive service and an outstanding wine list.
I tried Mangia Bene for the first time in January 2019. The service was prompt and efficient. The caesar salad was visually appealing and tasty. The lasagna alforno serving was huge, but the tomato sauce was flavorless. The menu says that it's a meat lasagna, but I couldn't find any. This was probably the worst lasagna I've ever had. Based on this experience, I would not return.
