This seems like a popular place, especially at lunch time. I was here with a group of friends and everyone's order went smoothly. I had the tuna sandwich which was very good. There are lots of 'custom' sandwiches, salads, and soup. I heard the Tri Tip is excellent. Maybe next time.

When traveling through Fresno, my father and I ate dinner here. I tried the tortellini with pesto sauce and the pizza margherita. Both were excellent, particularly the pizza, which almost seemed the have the taste and consistency of a garlicky tomato bruchetta over a traditional margherita pizza . I would also highly recommend the house pinot grigio. The prices were quite reasonable too.

Based on the other reviews, I had high hopes for this restaurant, but I left a little disappointed. The service was very good, but my salad was below average and my calzone was good but far from great. One other note, this restaurant closes early (8:00 on weeknights).

My wife and I have not been to this restaurant in many years. Decided to have dinner there last night. We were pleasantly surprised by the food and the service. Our waiter was Tyler who was fun and very helpful. I ordered the lasagna and pasta of my choice and it was very good. My wife had the chicken marsala with mizithra cheese pasta and was very happy. We will return again and request Tyler as our server.

I wasn't very hungry, but since my brother had a giftcard (lol). I had the usual lasagna with red sauce. Perfectly cooked and very delicious. I also tried the gnocchi soup, which as it turns out, is also very delicious. Couple that with the famous Olive Garden breadsticks and you have yourself a hearty meal. My wife loves this place, so we go when we're in the area. Will definitely return.

Stopped for Dinner on Saturday evening about 5:00 and was surprised that there were only two other tables with people. By the time we left at about 6:15 they were about 50% full. The staff was very friendly, and helpful and kept up on the table to ensure that we were satisfied. DiCicco's has a decent size menu, with a good selection of Pasta, Chicken, and Veal dishes. They also have Pizza and other items as well. Overall the food was good, nothing over the top, and have eaten much better Italian food at other places, would actually compare DiCicco's to Olive Garden as far as quality and taste of food, so was a bit disappointed that the taste and quality was not a bit better. Italian restaurants are not as populated on the west side of Fresno as other places, so not a large selection to choose from, so base don this, would probably go to DiCicco's again in the future. They do provide pretty large portions, so you will / would most likely take some of the meal home, after the salad, bread etc ....

Since Five has a reputation for being noisy, my sister wanted to eat outside. There were fewer people, but the traffic noise was just as annoying. My husband and I ordered and split the small Caesar salad. We asked for anchovies and got those horrible white, pickled ones wannabe upscale restaurants like to serve. The classic Caesar has the brown, oily salty ones. And the croutons are not a hard brick of thin French bread. The dressing was unmemorable. So the salad missed all around. We also split the Saltimbocca that came with pasta and sautéed zucchini and yellow squash. The Saltimbocca was very tender and flavorful, the pasta just okay and the vegetables edible. The service was spotty as our server was very new, but that's okay.Given the quality of the food, the service and the lack of ambiance, I wouldn't opt to return.

Do you want to eat WELL? Excellent house made pastas, authentic from Italy preparation. Not big American style servings. This is fine European style eating. We had the gnocchi, risotto and the tagliatelle zuuccha. All were hand made and fabulous. Also, the chocolate mousse was perfect with excellent coffee. Check mark this one for all trips through Fresno area.

Saw their ad in the hotel book. Luna Was walking distance from the best Western where we stayed. We arrived at 5 PM to a friendly and accommodating staff. The food was perfect for our pre-event meal. By the time we left the place had people waiting out the door. Great meal - great price!

Chef Jimmy Pardini brings his rustic Italian cooking to a recently renovated family restaurant.
Came at 6:00 PM. Entertaining business guest. Was promptly seated, in the back exit hallway at a bar table that is 14â wide. Up against a wall and the side of the wine storage. (At least the fire alarm is 6â from my face). Thought it was to just hold over but they actually were seating us for dinner. Let them know this would not do. The hostess said then we would have to wait an unknown amount of time for a table. Several empty tables in restaurant. Nice hostess, everything else not so nice. Last time I visit this establishment. Too bad they can operate successfully with this poor service. Would not survive long in most places. CU BY ANNEX
