A Chinese acquaintance recommended this new (seven months in business) restaurant on PCH as a place to taste authentic Chinese cuisine (they advertise as Shanghaiese). The place was busy on a Sunday evening, and the reason was soon obvious--a wonderful focus on great food, though service was good--fast and efficient. We ordered a few things from a very long menu--green beans with house sauce (absolutely delicious), vegetarian bao (handmade and served hot in steam pan), and honey walnut shrimp (I made an exception to my vegetarian preference--loved this dish!) We will return soon to try many more dishes. Highly recommend!

I love several chef's specialties there: water boiled fish, baked duck, bitter melon beef, and tofu salty fish with diced chicken. Some other lunch special dishes are delicious and authentic. I don't like the Americanized Chinese dishes--the meant are deep fried and seasoned with tons of sources. I usually go there with my Chinese female friends who know the real Chinese food.

P.F. Chang's is a restaurant concept that honors the 2,000-year-old Asian tradition of wok cooking and believes in making food from scratch every day in every restaurant. With a Farm to Wok food philosophy at its core, P.F. Chang's chefs hand-roll dim sum
You may not get the dazzling surprises we treasure in a locally owned, chef-driven restaurant. But if you can accept a pan Asian American setup belonging to a chain that seems to have stopped renewing, maybe it's your restaurant. The rescue of the sparsely populated restaurant in Del Amo was the bartender-waiter who efficiently and cordially cared for food guests, take out orders and mixing drinks. However, do not dream about a return visit as far as the food is concerned
Where to eat Soups food in Lomita: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Since A-1(ä¸åé¦) was changed hands, we have visited it 5 times and enjoyed the foods tremendously. At the most recent visit, we noted that the menu has been redesigned in a better way. We loved their specials like House Specialty Fish (æçéå¡), Meat Dumpling in Chili oil (ç´ æ²¹çæ), Braised Pork Ball in Brown Sauce (or in Soup) (ç åé ), Spicy Stewed Pork (äºæ´è ¸æº, $12.95), Stirred Fried Lamb with Basil (ä¸æ¯ç¾è, $14.95). We have not yet tried their famous Peking Duck. Some of their Taiwanese Special like Tainan Dantze Noodle Soup (å°åæ ä»éºµ), was a total failure (We have suggested they took it out of the menu, they will). The small restaurant seating in the corner of Pacific Coast HWY and Eshelman Ave, but only can be reached through PCH, very easy to be missed. We had no complaint about their service. They were so busy, acceptable. You have to visit it.

We are staying with some Chinese friends and all wanted to have a quick lunch and hence ended up in this no frills restaurant which offers Mandarin Szechwan cuisine. One can dine in or take out. There are about 15 chairs. We ordered some cold dishes - spicy peanut, mustard green and beans which were absolutely delicious. The hot braised stew beef soup comes in two quantities. We opted for bigger one and shared. This place serves home style, wholesome, delicious food and we highly recommend it. The local Chinese people can also get their Chinese newspaper.

We were treated here by locals and since our party was very large with many little ones, they recommended coming here because there's a little room that they block off, can close the door and accommodate us. They already warn us that this is not some fancy restaurant and that they do not have the best food around but pretty decent food, easy to order, fast for lunch and knows them well. They did all the ordering for our huge 2 tables. And yes this place is tiny and part of a motel? SO it wouldn't struck me as somewhere we'd go let alone bring people but its homey and the food wasn't bad at all especially for someone that misses some kinds of Shanghainese food. You can't get this kind of food in Texas, or many other places. So its more a homey kind of cooking, nothing fancy, simple and delicious. We liked the tofu shredded pork dish a lot. It was done very well and very much like how a true Shanghainese dish should be, very flavorful. Our kids raved about this place, funny even though we went to many better places, they still liked the dishes they tried here. We got little steamed dumplings and although done well, wasn't the best I've had but good. The price seemed really cheap because you can order straight from the lunch menu and they ordered many of those-both more American dishes to fill the kids and the more authentic ones for us. I loved the chinese vegetables here as well as all the noodle dishes. Their soup was wonderful too. Yes the dishes are small so we probably oerdered over 50 for both tables and racked up the bill but it was not bad food. I would come here again definitely if we lived here and order some of the ones we would like to eat. I can tell that the wait staff may not be the most courteous based on what I saw but that is usually the case with busy small Chinese restaurants. The restrooms were tiny, the whole place is but the food, at least some of the dishes were really tasty and left us craving more.

We had 30 people and had a small room to the back, very quiet. The food was abundant with plenty of varieties. Not great food but lots of choices for everyone. Seafood, meat, pasta, pizza, soup, vegetables, noodle, desert, ice cream They also had senior discount. great for lunch and gathering. Great price and no dishwashing, easy to eat with family.

Szechwan Chinese restaurant is not the neighborhood shrimp with lobster sauce, egg roll,, chow mein Americanized Chinese cuisine. This is an authentic, unusual real taste of China place. Dined there with a large family group, many of whom are ethnic Chinese. We had a large selection of dishes, many of which I was unfamiliar with. Everything was extremely well prepared, beautifully presented with a large variety of different excellent tastes. This a great dining experience.

I am from Northern California with access to great dumpling shops and houses in San Francisco. Din Tai Fung definitely made me fill like I was at home. The offerings were amazing! They were artfully crafted, delicate and I couldn't wait to pop each one in my mouth! The veggie and mushroom bun was heaven. The crab and pork bao were to die for, and I absolutely loved the shrimp and pork wontons.
