Excited to have BarrelHouse in Visalia! We take all our visiting friends and family. Great atmosphere, nice location, and lots of delicious beers to try out! You will not be disappointed. No food on the inside (except for pretzels and mustard), but food vendors are often outside or there are many restaurants close by to grab a bite to eat or bring in your food while you drink!

Ate here on a Tue about noon. Had a free birthday burger. Ordered a Reds Tavern Double Burger and another one. The unlimited fries are good but a small amount on the first order. Ordered more and had a good amount then. Had the onion rings and they were good. I will have to review the last place I had the rings as they were simi raw and tough. Not the case here. I stated the burgers were good and they were but not something I would write home about. McDs could have been as good. Service was slow but not the servers fault. They were busy. Would do it again.

My partner and I often call into Rookies when we just feel like having some chill time over a beer or two. Their appetisers are yummy and the burgers are good too. I did try a hot dog here once and that's probably the only bad thing I'd say about Rookies. Don't order the hot dog!! Staff are always friendly and the big guy behind the bar (Tom) is great. He makes you feel like a regular even if you haven't been in for a while. For those wanting to watch sport - this is the place for you. For those who aren't really sports lovers; don't worry - just ignore the televisions!

We dined on the second floor due to the noise level on the first floor because of a live band. The menu for both floors was offered, which was appreciated. Our waiter, Jose, was practically non-existent. He took our order, dropped off the food and came back at the end of the meal to âcheck on us.â This was only made more annoying by the fact that he walked past our table at least a dozen times while waiting on the party next to us. He did not tell us about the special that he told to the table next to us nor did he give us bread sticks or fresh pepper for my husbandâs entree salad. Basically, we were treated like second rate customers although we ordered from the same menu and were dressed similarly to the other table. The food itself was mediocre. I ordered the Cajun Fettuccine. The first ingredient listed in the description was shrimp. There were a grand total of FIVE small/medium size shrimp in the entire dish. There was an over abundance of diced chicken and bell peppers though. The chicken on my husbandâs Caesar salad was dry and tasteless. The portion for an entree salad really wasnât very impressive, especially compared to the amount of chicken and bell pepper in my dish. I never saw anyone looking remotely close to a manager. The support staff were on point with filling water glasses and taking away plates. The bar tender looked like he knew what he was doing...he shook drinks as they are supposed to be shaken and muddled ingredients correctly. This was our first time here and more than likely, it will be our last.

Nice hotel lounge. Normal to pretty good bar service. Some of the Bartender/Servers have been there a long time and maybe are not completely into it anymore. Ordered a sampler appetizer plate expecting a bunch of fried frozen items, but was surprised by fresh made appetizers. Very convenient while staying at the Wyndham.

Have picked up bowls to go on 2 occasions. Excellent chicken and beef rice bowls. Order online or when you get there, all food is prepared fresh when you order it. They also have 20-215 micro brewery beers on tap, always changing. Having recently moved to Visalia we are very happy to have discovered this great restaurant, Thank you!

Great steak dinner. Everything from the caesar salad to the filet to the baked potato to the rice pilaf to the mushrooms....all delicious. Our Server, Steiner, made the visit even better. Excellent service...so pleasant...could not do enough. He really adds a lot to a fabulous meal. Great atmosphere. Reasonable prices

Iâve been a loyal customer Of this restaurant since they first opened at their old Location. But the lastCouple times Iâve been there the food is been mediocre and the service is just terrible! I only go back because my son likes their Thai Pie.The straw that broke the camels back was when I tried to make reservations for a large party a week in advance. They apparently donât take reservations and couldnât be bothered to help me out. They were curt and rude! I understand they have a policy, but gee! I called Pizza Hut with the same Issue and they are going to work to accommodate me.Too bad when a local business donât appreciate their loyal customers!

Not only reviews that were generally positive, there is also a pronounced interest in craft brewing beer. Positive and energetic waitress guided us through the large menu.No great gastronomic exercises, but stable dishes that have a large audience. The beer varieties were completely satisfying. The interior is not the big audience magnet.

Not unlike the first one, here there was no room to try the menu. However, still room for more craftmanship produced beer, our choice was unfortunately one of the year's most mediocre. Bartender still serviceminded even though we stepped in close to closing.
