Nice restaurant, located in-house at the Inn at Morro Bay. Sundays they have a Prime Rib dinner special; and the chef does know how to cook a good prime. Salad, Prime Rib, starch and veggies, even a cobbler for dessert for $34. I enjoyed it. They also have a butternut squash soup this time of year that's really, really good.

Other restaurants in the area turned us away because they didn't have enough staff on a week night for our group of four (4). Otter Rock seated us immediately. Service was very good. The food was also very good. I always enjoy seafood while sitting on the bay with a great view.

This is an upscale place on the water with a very pleasant atmosphere. Prices are on the lower end of fine dining. Service is quick and personal. Our group had about 5 different seafood dishes and all were excellent. The clam chowder was actually a little too thick for what I prefer. The oysters were worth ordering. Overall a very nice evening. Drinks were reasonably priced.

Popped in for what a quick drink in what looked like a cool âlocalâ pub. Service was diabolical, 300lb 6â guy sitting at bar with wife (me!), donât get a second look, then in walks Mike and the barman says, âwhat you having Mike?â Seems like a go to place for locals, thatâs fine but have the courtesy to put up a sign saying âno tourists welcomeâ.

First day on our Hwy 1 Big Sur trip and we stopped in Morro Bay. The Dutchman's Seafood House caught our eye. Was not busy and we got a got a great table inside. Our server Ellie was great. Shared a clam chowder, had prawn and chips, and I had Tuna Melt w Onion Rings. The Tuna was a warm tuna patty, but good. Thanks for the wonderful review, Vic P!We're thrilled your time with us was so fantastic! Spectacular views and outdoor tables make this "Bistro on the Bay" a perfect spot to relax, enjoy a latte or organic coffee or morning Mimosa. Breakfast is served until 3pm daily including omelets, benedicts, fresh made biscuits and gravy and much more. I
Stopped in for dinner and were rewarded with nice harbor views, friendly service and a respite from the more touristy places facing the street. My wife had the lobster bisque and a seafood salad and enjoyed both. I ordered the linguini with a pound of clams and was in heaven. Clams and pasta were perfect and the broth was the best Iâve enjoyed in a long time. We liked it so well we returned for breakfast and had another outstanding meal. The Country Benedict was inspired - biscuits and gravy with a large sausage patty and poached egg inserted. I may stop making hollandaise and shift to this.We had a great time and will return.Thank you for sharing your glowing review. It is great to hear that you enjoyed both breakfast and dinner. It is helpful to know what our guests enjoy and to know you found a little bit of heaven! Say hello the next time you come in.Denise

So, this is a clean well run restaurant with a nice menu, and excellent service.... came here a long time ago, and though we would try it again... we were not disappointed. Fish Taco's were outstanding, and the Leticia Salad with Steak was delicious... server was very busy, but keep up with the tables and drinks well......

We came here just for the golf, but realized we needed to eat first. We were directed to the grill which was nicer than expected. It has a beautiful bar, and several tables on the inside, and quite a few tables for outside seating as well. The staff was very friendly, and the food came out relatively quickly. We all got something a little different, I had the veggie omelette which was very good. Nice and fresh, plenty of food. One of our group ordered the Bacon Blu burger and that was really well made and tasty as well. The biscuits and gravy looked amazing and I was told tasted great also. The prices were not outrageous either. So good food, good service, good portions and nice atmosphere!Thank you so much, Your review has great details !!!Our Team really enjoys the great feedback about our facility, the food, and the friendship we project to our guests. We are always trying to connect to the highest level of hospitality we can to make experiences comfortable and one which encourages everyone toward a return visit. Love coming to this little known pub. Locals come and are known on a first name basis. Wide selection of beers and ciders. Wine selection is reflective of the area, Paso and Arroyo Grande are amongst the best. Food is good, good variety - nachos, sliders, mac and cheese. Great spot for live music on the heated patio and it's friendly.

Full service family friendly sports bar type atmosphere. 18 Beers on tap. Arcade room. 7 Hi-def televisions. Heated patio seating. Extremely friendly staff and gourmet food. Fair includes Fresh Hand Pressed Burgers, Pizza, Pasta, Salads, Fresh Hand Dipped
Restaurant is two dining areas and a small video game arcade with a pretty large bar, plus a small concrete patio facing the parking lot with no shade. Sports-bar decor, plenty of tvs. Very friendly service but a little understaffed so had to wait a little longer between server visits to table. Good beer selection. Loved the giant pretzel (except for the $8.99 price), served with warm Dijon mustard (boyfriend loved) and the usual ballgame-style cheese sauce (with beer mixed in, improving flavor). Mixed salad greens were fresh and crisp on the $4.99 side salad (greens, croutons, and pre-shredded Parmesan). Blue cheese dressing was watery and not very blue cheesy. Spicy wings ($6.99 for 6 medium-sized wings) were described by server as Buffalo-style but they seemed to be dry-rubbed with a peppery blend of spices- tasty seasoning but skin was soggy and a little too fatty. No carrot or celery sticks. Boyfriend's chili dog was a big hit with an all-beef Nathan's dog and real cheddar shredded on top. Would like to come back to try the pizza. Thank you for your review Maggers! Your comments will help us improve where needed. Patio remodel in the works already stay tuned for that. Say hello when you are back to try the pizza :)
