The chowder simply wasn't that good. Maybe go to Skippers next time. The outdoor patio was nice and they allowed our dog

My tacos were the blandest tacos I have ever eaten. The chips were good, but my wife was not happy with her choice that was so non descript she said to me let's never go back. Service was average and friendly enough. This is a chain we have eaten at in other places, but this one turned us off of Chilli's. There are far better places to eat in the area.

First visit to this restaurant for dinner and went because I wanted some bar-b-que beef.Ordered the tri-tip which came with beans and cole slaw. The tri-tip arrived medium rare which was good but it was cold. After some time not seeing any wait staff I finally sent it back and received the meat back hot and medium well. It turned out to be grizzly and not very good. Beans and slaw were just so-so; nothing to write home about. Service was mediocre and it was very, very noisy. Probably won't go back and can't recommend you spend your time or money at Jack's.

We chose this restaurant having eaten here years ago, and based on the tripadvisor reviews. It was 9:00 p.m. and so the restaurant wasn't crowded. It was a Saturday night and they'd clearly had a busy day as the restaurant needed a thorough cleaning. There were employees standing around near the front of the restaurant in shorts, clearly cold, doing nothing. They had all the windows wide open, yet it had turned quite cold. They were nice about closing the windows. If the employees swept all the debris off the floor they'd warm themselves up, and make the restaurant more appetizing. We ordered a tri-tip sandwich. The sandwich was about $12. Thin slabs of over cooked meat were on a bun, with some lettuce. They could have added at least a pickle to make the plate more attractive. My daughter ordered a turkey breast sandwich, which had avocado, bacon, lettuce and tomato. It was much better than the steak sandwich. My husband had a ham and cheese sandwich which wasn't bad. Overall this is an average restaurant that needs some attention to cleanliness.

Manrock is the kind of place where you are only a stranger once, then youâre part of the Manrock family. Wonderful owners and staff, a large beautiful outdoor area with a stage for bands. Dog and kid friendly with plenty of games. The beer? Love it! My personal favorite is Devilâs Bath, a strong English ale....hello darkness my old friend. Wednesdayâs are for burgers which are huge and come in many varieties. Thursdayâs are pizza and pint night and again, many varieties cooked to perfection in the outdoor wood fired oven. Sundayâs, during football season, are very popular for their massive burritos and many tv screens for watching all the games. This is a very popular place with locals, but inviting for everyone. Great food, great beer, great people...doesnât get any better than this for a microbrewery.

This is the best food value in the Pismo area. My wife had the Filet Mignon and I had the Scallops (a DOZEN on top of pilaf). Just Wonderful! You get soup, salad, beans, salsa, potatoes, and an after-dinner "dessert" of either a Tan Ferrari or Rootbeer Float. The atmosphere is Western and cool (unless you don't like stuffed animals). (This is a far cheaper alternative to F McClintocks on Mattie Rd.) We will return! We went on the early side, around 5 pm to avoid crowds. The service was fast and friendly. It's convenient to the 101 Freeway just south of the Outlet Mall. You will not leave hungry, but may take food home!

Seven of us dined at Mason Bar and Kitchen on Saturday. I had the pastrami Reuben, the others had things like cobb salad, their lobster "corn dog" and other original dishes, Every one was happy with their meal. They all came out of the kitchen in a timely manner, the server was informative, helpful and congenial. Dan the General Manager a delight. The lobster was "awesome" my Reuben was the best I ever had with fresh sauerkraut, Swiss cheese melted to perfection great pastrami and the rye bread perfect...I recommend Masons to all my friends now. Its a real find...don't know why it took me so long to find them :-)

Weâve dined here several times and the food is not impressive. Yesterday we went again, and I was hoping the ânew menuâ meant improved food but sadly it is just as mediocre as before. Iâm not sure how or why they get any good reviews at all! I was reminded of what I said before about this place, go for DRINKS ONLY. And sit out on the patio (because thereâs big screen TVs blaring inside, I hate that). The food we had yesterday was pretty bad. âLobsterâ rolls on stale buns with some sort of seafood salad that looked and tasted suspiciously like imitation crab and was SO SALTY it was almost inedible. And the tuna melt, gross. Good bread on this one but they slathered olive tapenade on the sandwich which completely overwhelmed any other flavors and ruined it (oh and also too salty). I donât know who came up with that combo of putting olive tapenade on a tuna sandwich but it was so off and didnât work at all. Slimy, rotting salad in the side salad. All and all a waste of money and weâve learned our lesson. No more ordering food at Rooster.
