I like Japanese food very much, and like a quiet and serene atmosphere to go with it. Sato provided both--we each had a very good teriyaki beef plate with tempura garnishes, and plentiful green tea. The restaurant was serving mostly customers who were clearly of Japanese descent, a good sign of authenticity and quality of the food. I can't comment on the raw fish dishes, as I don't eat raw fish, but the cooked lunch menu offerings were varied including chicken, beef and seafood. Lunch menu is online at the Sato website; most lunches are a good value at around $10.Service was attentive and pleasant. We lingered as long as we wished. The restaurant is small and attractively appointed. Parking seemed tight on a Friday at lunchtime--there are many shops and restaurants in the shopping center.Would gladly try other dishes at lunch or dinner at Sato.

Driving around looking for sushi places on a 106 degree day is not my idea of fun. Finally found this place, which IS open on the weekends, unlike other places. We were pleasantly surprised. We were quickly treated and seated. There were edamame (free) for us to snack on while we made our menu choices. We chose two sushi rolls and we're pleased with both. I think our total bill was $30.

P.F. Chang's is a restaurant concept that honors the 2,000-year-old Asian tradition of wok cooking and believes in making food from scratch every day in every restaurant. With a Farm to Wok food philosophy at its core, P.F. Chang's chefs hand-roll dim sum
Went for a family dinner to celebrate my wifeâs birthday. The service at this P.F. Changâs in Pleasanton felt like I was visiting a Dennyâs; no, thatâs not fair to Dennyâs. The food wasnât bad, but the service was inattentive, lazy and not what weâre used to. Save yourself a bad experience and go to Walnut Creek.

Energized by a passion for serving and a love of Indian cuisine, Chaat Bhavan - Dublin is more than a restaurant -- it's a way of life. Specializing in northern and southern Indian delicacies, we have over 70 dishes on our menu with an emphasis on vegetar
ââTis is a good restaurant. The food is good. Service is little sluggish. Weekend the space is small. It is pure veg. It is a restaurant.Thank you! Although we're thrilled our vegetarian dishes are your favorite, we're sorry if service could be speedier. We appreciate your feedback, and look forward to welcoming you back for another meal. Until then, Team at Chaat Bhavan

The Bay Area has a lot of good sushi restaurants, but this one stands out. Definitely fresh, nicely presented and just really good. Generous portions for the price, excellent service. Pleasanton isn't the center of the universe, but whenever I'm in the area I will drive a few extra miles to return to Pleasanton and this restaurant when I want sushi!

This is by far the best Oriental food in Northern California. Fantastic and varied menu selections that are not the 'run-of-the-mill offerings. Fried baby libster tails, Walnut Prawns with prawns the size of silver dollars and scallop dishes are a must. Great service at this well appointed restaurant. Strongly recommend reservations for weekends. Parking directly behind the building but fills fast on Friday and Saturday evenings. This is one restaurant that is a must for great food and reasonable prices.

My entire family enjoyed the food. Some highlights were the chefâs special crispy chicken, the sesame chicken, coconut rice and for dessert Shwa Gyi - which is a semolina pudding with coconut milk. The latter dish is particularly recommended for those who do not like their desserts too sweet.Service was excellent. The only drawbacks were that the restaurant is small so it can get noisy and parking can be a bit of a challenge.

We loved the Mushu-Mushu rolls. They were super fresh and the wrap was amazing. Quinoa salad and sesame eggplant tofu also were fantastic. Other dishes we got were Curry Fried rice, Curry Vegetables were were very good. You don't expect much to come here in a strip mall near the outlets but this is a place we will return to for sure.

This restaurant is located smack dab in the middle of Pleasanton Downtown and has good ambience. The service is also decent and the food is mostly ok. The food has been altered to suit the taste buds of non-Indians (not as spicy) and is super pricey (maybe because of its location). It is worth trying but there are a lot more choices in Pleasanton and Bay Area if you are looking for authentic Indian food.
