was staying at a nearby hotel and needed a place for lunch. found Ola Hawaiian BBQ on a whim for hawaiian food. located in a strip mall so look for their name on the mall's signage on the west side of placentia ave. The service was friendly and helpful. when questioned about the difference in the bbq chicken vs the teriyaki chicken was told there was only a subtle difference and that was, indeed, correct. we ordered a family meal plus 2 orders of the fried shrimp. also purchased some large sodas (good deal) to feed 5 adults. we took it back to eat by the pool of the hotel and there was so much food that we couldn't finish it all. everything remained hot in the containers and there was alot of chicken and beef. the consistency of the rice was perfect and i liked the macaroni salad very much. it was helpful that they provided extra plates and utensils as well as plenty of sauces. i would not hesitate to visit again, good eats and reasonable pricing for all the food you do get.

I was really impressed with Orange Roll and Sushi. It's very casual but don't let that fool you. I ordered the Sunset roll and a spicy tuna roll. First, these rolls are huge. The fish was super fresh and the rolls expertly crafted. The folks working there were very welcoming and we're quick to bring out food and to stop by to make sure things were good. I felt very welcome and my business appreciated. As mentioned earlier, it's pretty casual. A great place to eat but not really the kind of place to bring clients. Overall, highly recommended.
First visit, with a friend, we both had the combo plate of chicken and beef, with rice and half vegetables/half salad. The cuts of meat are clearly superior to other teriyaki bowl places, and this place offers both wraps and burritos. Plus hamburgers...we really enjoyed our meals. The staff is helpful and friendly, the restaurant is spotlessly clean and we will definitely be back. I look forward to many more meals at this neighborhood teriyaki spot.

I enjoyed our big celebration here at this restaurant, with all of its wonderful authentic Japanese cuisine. He reminds me of when I lived in Japan 20 years ago. The only thing I don't like is that it's kind of loud which is OK because it kind of reminds me also have the Japanese teriyaki houses.

If you are curious about a restaurant - look for a line. If there is one, those people are telling you that there is something worth waiting for inside. Pho Noodle House is no different. Wanted something different for dinner and stopped in and placed an order to go. The food came out fast and the aroma made me speed home. Once home the portions and ingredients were a very nice surprise. Just like dining inside, the take out comes with all the different flavors to personally customize your meal, and all of this is before you get to taste it....once that happens you are very happy you waited. Great place, good service, and simply good food.

First of all, the staff here is amazing! On the 2nd visit they remembered me from the first one. And no, I didn't cause a scene or anything the first time to make them remember me! Great choices in sashimi and rolls. Chef specials, advertised and unadvertised :-) Reasonable prices. We will definitely be back!

I used to had very similar ramen to this one in Costa Mesa, which it was my favorite one..The ramen was very very good! and the place is very fast serving. Because it is a popular place so there are always customers waiting! That's a very good sign~Only the problem for me is, Fullerton is too far to just go eat ramen.. I hope I will have another chance to be in the town so I can have the ramen again!

Had the Pineapple curry with Roast Duck which was tasty and surprisingly had a lot of duck meat. We should have ordered it spicier but that was our first time there in several years. The chicken pad thai was average. Our server Pam was very attentive without being intrusive and it was a busy Friday night.

Pretty good restaurant, even though it is in a strip mall and I always have very low expectations of restaurants in strip malls. Actually, my expectations are so low that I donât eat in restaurants in strip malls! But if you are staying in scenic (ha!) Brea and you donât have time to drive to a charming old town somewhere, youâre really not left with much choice as far as I can tell.So...we were pleasantly surprised by the food at this restaurant. I had enough roast duck on the plate in my dish to last two meals. Admittedly Iâm not prone to gluttony, however, it was a lot of food. And it was very good to boot! My wife ordered the sushi plate and that was very good also. Oh, and the service was excellent. On the negative side, they only serve tediously boring Japanese beer, which is a bit silly in my opinion given all the wonderful local craft beers available on the West Coast. Câest la vie I suppose. So all-in-all I give this restaurant four stars. In a different location I might even give them five stars, but I could never bring myself to give five stars to a restaurant in a strip mall. Sorry!

We had the $24.99 dinner buffet. Waited 1 hour 15 minutes at about 5:30 pm Saturday. Service and sides were very good. Different beef selections were all tough and some sinewy and grisly. Baby squid and shrimp were fresh, but shrimp were small. Very loud.
