Visiting Davis for a local 200 mile road bike ride event, we walked around and found this place. We opted for the all-you-can-eat option. We sat at the sushi bar with all the sushi boats going around...grab what want. You can also order directly from the chef. We did both. Not bad sushi! Street parking...but have fun finding a spot. No complaints.

The gailan with oyster sauce was cooked just right and flavored with oyster sauce-very good. The house chow fun was tasty with char siu, scallops, squid and chicken. The honey walnut shrimp was good but not spectacular. Servings were generous but service was slow. The wait staff was seen eating and had to be hailed to get service with the restaurant not full.

Executive chef Ketmoree has been serving up her famous Thai inspired cuisine for over ten years. Formerly named 2K Thai Food, KetMoRee Thai Restaurant & Bar upgraded into a much larger space on G Street in April, 2009 after years of success as one of Davi
Among the Thai choices in Davis this is one of the better. Very flavorful food but it can get really spicy if youâre not careful. The servers are helpful in making selections if youâre not sure. Wine is a bit expensive. Lots of Davis like choices such as regular, free range and hormone free chicken. Right. Ambiance is pleasant but gets noisy when crowded. Tables and floors could be a little cleaner or less sticky, but that could be not completely removing cleanser after washing. Good choice when in Davis. Cheers

We went to this place on our last night, we had our dinner here and it was delicious comparing the price with other it is little expensive but worth the price.Vegetarian dishes are more authentic Nepalese and creamier. Nonvegetarian dishes are more Indian taste and taste nice. If you are not familiar with the names ask the waiters to describe the dish. Value for the money

Don't let the cramped space and the fact that "everyone in your party must be present to be seating" scare you away. This is the real thing. GREAT SUSHI... so good that I have never tried anything else on the menu!! Many people recommend Mikuni but for me, Zen Toro is the real thing and not a chain. Also, they have amazing green tea ice cream that is made special for them.

Yes, we drive down from Citrus Heights to Davis just to get Dumplings. These are absolutely the real deal, large, plump and flavorful. We have been to China twice and have been bitterly disappointed since we got back and have not been able to find good dumplings. Our search is over.

The food at this small Davis Thai food restaurant was good. Weâre used to the milder spicing of some Thai restaurants because the âmediumâ spice here was very hot. We had tofu pad Thai and red curry with chicken. We were disappointed that the pad Thai has very little tofu. Over all, we liked the food. Something was off about the staff though. Despite taking our order on an electronic tablet and the waitress reading the order back to us, the kitchen prepared some other kind of noodle dish that we sent back. When she ran our credit card for the $27.28 bill, it came to us as $7.28. Anyway, in summary, the food was good albeit Spicy hot.

This is a neighborhood restaurant in a shopping center, with a very pleasant interior, somewhat traditional Asian Fusion, with some 25+ comfortable booths and tables.I am gluten-intolerant, so I quizzed the waiter as to what dishes I could have without using batter. They are very accommodating and are willing to prepare the dishes without using batter. I ordered the sweet-and-sour pork, which they prepared without using batter.. It normally comes in a light batter and instead being âon the boneâ the pork was shredded and it was delicious. Served with pineapple chunks, crisp carrot strips, green peppers and onionsâ¦Terry had the fusion pasta [$11.50] which has large tubular noodles [pasta], served with celery, carrot strips, mushrooms, zucchini and shrimpâ¦.which was slightly spicy, and very tasty. Large portions, polite and attentive service, comfortable atmosphere and fair pricingâ¦overall a pleasant experience.

That's right, we went to Davis specifically to eat at a restaurant that is located in the same complex where Sophia's Thai Kitchen is located only to find the intended restaurant was closed (unknown reason). We were hungry and the reviews on Sophia's was very good so we just walked around the corner. Let's try to make lemonade out of lemons!!We walked into a somewhat dark and drab indoor room which had 1 booth for four patrons, 2 tables for four each and 5 single people or a couple's tables grand total. I make this distinction only because they also offer an enclosed courtyard area just in front in the main restaurant entrance. Food wise, this place was right on the money. My Lady enjoyed the Lunch Menu Deep Fried Calamari Salad with red onions, cilantro, chili lime dressing with white rice and two spring rolls (I has one of those spring rolls and it was very taste). She did say she wished there could have been a little more Calamari on her plate. My Calamari Lemongrass meal was off the main menu, it had a side order of brown rice. The calamari was prepared perfectly tender and NOT overcooked; the meal was an explosion of flavors i my mouth. The service was nothing special but it was very efficient and always there. We NEVER had to ask for anything and our water glasses were never less than half full. We arrived there early but before we left the entire outdoor and interior eating areas were packed. Yes, we did not intend to go there for lunch today but I will definitely go back to Sophia's next time we are in Davis.

A cool, urban vibe balances a warm, friendly atmosphere at Mikuni's eighth restaurant. Located in the Davis Commons, right in the heart of the downtown area, this newest hot spot is within easy walking distance of the UC Davis campus. We're delighted to ha
If this place was in San Francisco, it would be 3/5, i.e., average. However, in Davis, I am tempted to give 4/5. The sushi was okay and my tamago-meter was solid in the middle of the scale. However service really excelled. Definitely back, as there are not many tasty options in this town.
