Kyoto has always been a restaurant that I've enjoyed, but since recently visiting Japan, I have also discovered that it is more authentic in taste as well as in ambiance than any other sushi place in Sonoma County. It holds up to the traditional Japanese sushi and chirashi restaurants with ease. Their food is very fresh, they have nice tatami rooms and bamboo mats, the service is lovely, and it really is like being transported to Japan. They do tempura, edamame, chicken yakitori, and sushi just perfectly. Everyone has their own sushi preferences which are assuredly not the same as mine, but their tako is tender for tako, and their ebi nigiri is very good as well. The important thing is that their sushi rice is delicious and simple, and that their fish is obviously very fresh and their sushi master a master. Their menu is broad, and they are accommodating beyond it if you ask. If this restaurant were in a different location, like in the middle of a major city, it would get the acclaim it deserved. Outstanding, traditional sushi done just right. Blink, and you'd think you were in Japan.
The place looks a little run down and the air conditioner was not running, so it was warm. They have several curry and rice dishes to choose from. I got the chick peas and potatoes. You get a lot of food for the cost. I thought it could have used more spices, it was kind of bland. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. I want to give the restaurant another try.

Food from the foothills of Himalayas. Toned down version of rich spicy north Indian food plus authentic Nepali dishes. Our popular items: Momos, Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Basil Naan etc..
Great restaurant...very popular. Our daughter goes to college at Sonoma State, so we get more than an occasional chance top dine here. She says it is very popular with all the students.Simple place in a little strip mall...very close to the campus...very near a Starbucks, it you are hitting the road after dinner like we usually are.Food is good, reasonably priced and the wait staff is excellent.

We really enjoyed our dinner experience at Sushiko. Ample parking, we were seated immediately, customer service was excellent. Staff were attentive and accommodating. Food after ordering arrived promptly and wonderfully displayed on the plates. Excellent flavors and very good portion sizes. I appreciated that the wait staff would occasionally come by the table to ask if everything was ok and if we needed anything. We did have one person in our group who inquired about GF options. The menu does not specify GF options so she had to ask. There seemed to be very limited GF options but the staff were helpful and did a good job at finding something that would work.

This small eatery is a regular on my restaurant rotation and offers a warm clean atmosphere with delicious food. The BBQ pork over noodles are so good. The the beef noodle soup is also delish. The portions are generous and the food is fresh. The steamed shrimp egg rolls are a great starter. The owners are really nice and personable. This spot is a regular on my rotation because the food is great and the staff are friendly. It is a hole in the wall spot but definitely worth a visit.

I have visited Lynn's a few times and each time I was treated to some of the best Thai in Nor Cal. The service was exceptional and the food was amazing. Writing this review is making me hungry just thinking about that seafood dish I ordered and how fresh everything was. Do yourselves a favor visit Lynn's for fresh authentic Thai and you'll be glad you did.

WOW! This place is fantastic! First, it's easily accessible & has plenty of parking. The restaurant itself is decorated very nicely, & it's very comfortable. The people that work there are very friendly, & helpful. Now, for the food. Even though this was our first time here, we ordered a lot of takeout because we were having family in from San Francisco. I myself am 5 th generation S.F. so I am very particular about Chinese food. Here in Sonoma County I have only found one place that was pretty good. But, this place is off the hook. Every dish we ordered was absolutely perfect. For appetizers we ordered the B.B.Q. Spareribs, egg rolls, crab puffs, salt & pepper chicken wings, Shang Hai steamed dumplings, & spicy wonton. Everything was very good, but the wings were excellent. And something that I have never seen anywhere else except S.F., was the Shang Hai dumplings & spicy wontons. If you visit here you must get both these items, what a special treat. The dumplings were so flavorful, and I loved the peanut sauce with green onions on the spicy wontons. Everything was so fresh tasting. Everyone raved about the food. Then for the main dishes we ordered Black Pepper Beef Steak Sizzling Platter, ( outrageously good ), Hunan Chicken, ( delicious ), sweet & sour pork, ( yummy crispy pork, & tender veggies & pineapple ), Mongolian Lamb, ( the meat was so tender & the sauce was a tastebuds delight ), combination chow fun, ( I usually get chow mein but wanted to try this dish. The noodles are wider, & the sauce, meats, shrimp, & veggies were out of this world! Everyone loved it ). We will be back again, this time to dine inside & try other dishes. This is now one of my top favorite restaurants in Sonoma County. I no longer have to go to S.F., for excellent Chinese food.

I respect that people seem to just love Tiny Thai, and perhaps I am spoiled, but this has got to be the worst Thai place I've ever eaten at, and I've eaten here five times now (we get takeout). The pad thai is a greasy pile of noodles that remind me of bad chow main, the tom kha gai soup tastes vaguely like soap and does not abide by the Thai rule of flavor mixing: salty, sour, sweet, and bitter (it's kind of bitter and sweet but not at all balanced). Thom Kha Gai and Pad Thai are basic staples, so if a Thai restaurant isn't nailing these, we're already in trouble. But add that to stringy chicken satay and runny massaman curry, and we resolved to not go back, no matter HOW convenient it is, a sixth time. Thus said, it's extremely convenient, so reading these reviews, perhaps they just slough off the bad stuff for takeout or maybe the green papaya salad with pumpkin curry is their star dish. Perhaps it's in the ambiance. But it's not in the staples of good Thai cooking, that's for sure. Ironically, I'm not even a little picky about Thai food, but everything I had that they made for the Thom Kha Gai tasted like canned coconut milk in the worst way, very tinny, with like two sad prawns floating in it and thick, sweet, tinny soup. I don't recommend it, but I also don't not recommend it; ask the waiter what is good, perhaps? And maybe nothing is? I haven't found their best dish yet, that much is for sure.

So great to be able to walk to a local Cotati restaurant for some amazing sushi! Their lunch specials are great and they don't scrimp on portions or selection! Went to their Curry Feast Fundraiser for Sonoma County Fire Victims, and I wouldn't hesitate to have the curry there again--but it's so hard to pass up their sushi and sashimi!Nice intimate atmosphere with many regulars, so it speaks well that it's frequently full no matter the day!

Not sure what's happened with this go-to place for lunch, but when we were there yesterday it was clear that something had changed: Ownership, chefs, who knows? The soy sauce they served was so salty it was inedible. The sushi was dryish, The miso soup was served luke warm. Everything was loaded with sodium and we were all parched and thirsty afterward. The waiter was brusque, didn't bring our tea, and when we asked for tuna sashimi on our bento box selection, we were told we couldn't because it was "chef's choice" only. We are very sad but we won't be going back.
