This is one of the best sushi/sahimi experiences I have had outside of Japan....Including Masa in Manhattan!...I never saw the menu...sat at the sushi bar and asked the chef/owner to choose for me....Also had a wonderful sake from Nagata prefecture....If you truly love real sushi--not the fake rolls etc....you will not be disappointed....This restaurant is an absolute gem.....I loved it and thanks to the owner for a great evening!

Small "hole in the wall" in a strip-mall back S/E corner of Willow and Shaw. Have eaten there many times and have taken out. Owner takes orders. Will make as you request. You can change spice mild to hot or add vegetables. I love the Pad Kee-Mow which I add brocccoli. The main thing I like about this place the vegetables are always fresh and cooked just right, still a crunch. Egg rolls are also very good.Good service. If busy, they can be a little slow, but worth it.One down fall is, in the summer and it is hot out side, it is warm in the restaurant. They need some ceiling fans.

I really like this place and I go/ pick up an order to go about once a month. It's in the little Barnyard shopping center off of Clovis Ave near Barstow. The restaurant is clean and quiet and the staff is very friendly. It's also open till 10 when most restaurants are already closed.I have eaten pho in the southeast side of town (near Roosevelt HS there are many pho restaurants), and I think this one in Clovis is the best. Of course, that depends on one's personal preferences and expectations. The restaurants on Tulare or Kings Canyon are better known for their seafood pho with squid and mussels and ...an assortment of fishy fish of which I am not a fan. I like this place because I order the chicken pho and they use all-white shredded chicken breast. When I order it to go, they package the broth in a large cup, and all of the contents separately in a to-go box. A large order is too much to eat in one sitting, so I throw in half the fixings and leave the rest in the fridge for the next day. I have tried the other types of pho with the meat brisket, etc, and they're ok, but I prefer the chicken. I have not tried the noodle or fried rice dishes there. I go there for one thing: pho. Happy eating!

Went out for a nice casual Valentines dinner here. They offer teppanyaki as well as casual seating. We opted for the casual table as the tepanyaki was pretty crowded. We each ordered the Tereyaki Boat. Lots of food. Steak, tempura, california roll, rice and all of it was very good. Service was very good even though they were busy. We stayed so long, they were closing when we left. Great food at a decent price

Service was great. Friendly staff. However, the food was NOT GOOD. I asked for kung pao chicken lunch special. where the heck was the chicken. It was more like small kibbles and bits (not to infer that it was not chicken) just that the pieces were so dang small I had to stack several pieced together on the fork to feel like I was eating something. Also, the chow mein looked and tasted like top ramen noodles. NO FLAVOR and the portion was enough for a toddler. Again nice staff, fast service, but NO BUENO! Clovis hopefully has something better to offer.

My husband and I ate dinner tonight at the restaurant and our service was A+! Our food was outstanding- everything was cooked to perfection! We enjoyed fried prawns, mango salad with shrimp, prawns with chili sauce! A great family restaurant with picturesque plates of Thai food!

We made a reservation for mothers day today on Friday. Well we changed our work schedules, church schedules and family times and we made it on time for our 11:30 Reservation at Fours seasons. To our surprise the Hostess who has a strong Chinese accent was very rude, said there were NO reservation today and informed us to place our name on waiting list. They may have good food. But they SUCKED today. Thanks for a great Mothers Days. Must be Chinese culture at this restaurant. Will not go back there ever again. Horrible service normally but we put up with it cause the food is good. Good Luck .

Quite a nice surprise, with some yakidofu to start, with a great semi sweet sauce. The super sunomono salad is the best salad I have ever had in a sushi place. The spicy tuna handrolls were good, as was the sashimi platter of tuna and yellowtail. Rice was a little too soft. But overall, quite good, with good service.

This was my first time to the Japanese Kitchen in Clovis. As a combination sushi bar, restaurant and teppan-yaki they may be trying to do too much. We attended for the teppan-yaki dinner and I will say that the food was fresh, well prepared and tasty although salty for my taste. I was not overly impressed with the cooking show and have seem more entertaining shows at other Japanese restaurants.Service was very good. Prices are reasonable. Menu selection is good and did include a vegetarian (not vegan) option. Drink selection is limited. With eight people seated at the table it was a bit crowded. The overall atmosphere could be improved with more separation between tables.

My family and I have visited this restaurant several times, both inside, and take away dinner. The ambulance is great, and is a nice place to go out for dinner. The food is DELICIOUS! Our favorite dishes are the crispy pork, and the pad Thai. BEST Thai restaurant in town. We have also had several other dishes, and they are all wonderful. A true gem in Clovis! Do yourself a favor and get the crisy pork, your life will be changed!!
