I LOVED the food here! Amazingly delicious flavors in everything that I tried. I ordered the chicken taali (a round platter filled with bowls of different foods) as I wanted a lot of different things and the 8 different little bowls each had something uniquely terrific. Iâd happily come back and probably order the same thing as I love variety and generally dine alone so there isnât much of an opportunity to sample different dishes. My lunch was $12 and I have enough leftover for a whole other meal! It also came with a chapati (not seen in the picture). The butter chicken was outstanding! But really, everything tasted fantastic, including an amazing chicken 65 as well as their dal, and some other thing I have truly no idea what it was (vegetable of some sort) but it was divine. Freshly made chapati so fresh of the hot grill that i had to let it cool before I could dig in.

We order lunch there for the office a lot. Good sushi, we like to try different rolls, so my wish would be that they write on top of the box which roll is which!

This place is hit or miss. The rolls are good sized and quality but sometimes too saucy. Service is sometimes slow both on making the food and also the dining service itself even when the restaurant is half full. You don't feel the welcoming and polite attitude as in most other Japanese restaurants. Huge menu with a lot of great choices but maybe that's why they have issues, too many different dishes for the chef to deal with as well as the wait staff. However the upside is that everyone can find something they like at this local restaurant.

My husband & I decided to try out this Asian restaurant while we were celebrating our 40th anniversary at Red Hawk. Like the other reviews, it is a bit pricey, especially when we compare them to their counter parts at Thunder Valley & Cache Creek. (That's the only reason for 4-stars vs 5.)We ordered our usual sweet & sour pork, house chow mien, potstickers & steam rice. The food was fresh not greasy and the flavors were all there. This turned out to be more than enough food for two. I wish we could of brought our leftovers but we were staying at a B&B for 2 nights. Even though it was pricey, the food was delicious and if we return to Red Hawk we would eat here again.

Really delicious meal at Aji. We had lumpia, Kalbi tacos, a salmon salad, and tantan noodles. Everything was delicious. I wish my stomach was bigger because there were a lot of other things I would have liked to try. The menu was great with lots of choices. Service was friendly and great. Atmosphere was relaxing. Our only complaint was the room was pretty chilly. Outside patio looks especially nice when weather gets better. This will be one of our new favorite places!

After finally getting our food we found that the descriptions were wrong! Told the chicken was not too spicy, it turned out to be very spicy. After waiting 15 minutes for sugar for tea I got up and got it myself! After that the waitress returned to let one of our party know that they were out of her order. She requested a menu at that point (guh) and then ordered again. There are many restaurants in the area, choose a different one!

It's the Wandering Yank. Mrs. Yank and I love Thai food, and we've tried out many Thai places in the area, continuing our search for the perfect local Thai restaurant. Friends recommended Thai House, TA reviews were mostly positive, so we gave it a try.Our visit did not go well.Sure, it was a Saturday night, so a bit busy. Not overwhelmingly busy, but most (not all) tables were taken. We stood in the entrance for a few minutes before we were acknowledged, then a few minutes later a table for 2 opened up. Not exactly an overwhelming welcome, but we've had worse.A busboy gave us menus and water. Okay....10 minutes later we had had no further interaction with staff. Then we did something we have never done before in 40+ years of restaurant-going - we walked out. No staff appeared to notice.The menu looked interesting. And I was prepared to give Thai House bonus points when I saw Chang beer, both regular and large bottles, on the menu.Oh well, the evening was not ruined. Since we had Thai food on our minds, we googled and found another Thai restaurant we hadn't tried before, Thai Unique in Placerville. See my review, but **spoiler alert**, it was a success.2 thumbs down.

You would not expect to find this caliber of sushi in a small, foothills town. The fish was fresh, nicely cut and tasted great!Service very good. We had small sashimi dinner, seared sea steak, scallop ball and eye ball : everything was beautifully prepared and delicious!We wonât drive 45 minutes just for Yuki Sushi but if we are buzzing through Cameron Park again - this is our new stop!

Meals presented were very good! Each of us thoroughly enjoyed what we ordered. Meal started with soup and tea. More than enough served to each. In fact had to take a portion for each of us when we left. Servers, etc. are very attentive. Well worth going there more than once!
