We visited this establishment for lunch on our way to visit relatives in the area. Altho we had been here before, and gave a somewhat bland review, it seems that they have improved. We had good service, nice selection of drinks, and the pot stickers and bone-in wings were excellent. Definitely worth the visit.
'The Post' just recently reopened in Salida. You'll find them next to IOT and across the street from Gregori High School on Stoddard Rd just off Kiernan. Now that you know that, I can tell you about the experience friends and I had there yesterday. This is a great place to eat, have events, relax in the surroundings of the restaurant... The service was superb the food more than excellent and the grounds, well, you just have to see it for yourselves. Go and enjoy yourselves! The decor is beyond belief. A real treat in an out-of-the-way place. I love it there and can't wait to go back!
As I travel across the country, I eat at a lot of different Subway sandwich shops. This one seems to have the same standards as most of the other stores, although I visited this location about 3:15p in the afternoon, and they definitely had not refreshed their line. I got the end of the pepper jack cheese, left-over (sketchy) cucumbers, I passed on the left over tomatoes (didnât feel good about those). So I definitely believe if âFRESHâ is a part of their marketing strategy, they need a better plan to keep things stocked and not force customers to choose from a âleftoverâ line. However, I do love that California locations include Sour Dough as a bread option. I sure wish this was a nation-wife strategy - because the sour dough bread is great!

Overall really enjoy this cafe. Food is usually very good and service can be one extreme or the other. Have visited two times recently an experienced Javier. He is excellent and really seems to be interested in your experience. The specials are usually very good but pricey. It seems that almost every time there is some type of glitch that results in service recovery. Even when thery are not busy they seem to be. I enjoy the atmostphere and mostly the wait staff ( I do take exception to the hostess who takes 5-6 minutes to determine that I can have a table when the dining room is less than 25% full...truly an opportunity to improve) Great location and overall very good experience!

For more than 65 years Denny's has been bringing people together over great food. It's the place where people can relax and be themselves; where they can enjoy classic American comfort food and everyday value. 24 hours a day. 365 days a year. Here, you ca
My hubby and I came here 2 days in a row because it was the most convenient from our hotel...we walked here. We were quickly seated by our friendly servers and drinks served. The first night I ordered the build your own burger. I chose chicken with a whole wheat bun....I was trying to be good on my diet...lol. with that I had the dippable veggies. My hubby had the club sandwich with fries. The meals were huge and everything was delicious. Tonight I had the grilled chicken apple, cranberry salad with balsamic vinaigrette. Oh my..for 360 calories, it was perfect. My hubby decided on a breakfast meal and he didn't finish it. Everything was yummy. I love the fact that calories are included for all of their food items. Even though I am on vacation, I can still make wise choices, or not. If we are ever back this way again, we will stop by.

Two of us arrived at 11.30 for lunch. The waitress was friendly and greeted us immediately. We explained we were waiting for a third person to arrive, so declined repeated efforts by the waitress to order. Our friend finally arrived at noon, by which time the waitress was evidently otherwise occupied. She finally came by to take our orders perhaps 20 minutes later. Forty minutes later we still did not have our food. She explained there was some kind of problem with the grilled chicken. We told her to bring the other dishes. My friend's chicken sandwich was good, though the fries were cold. My clam chowder soup was excellent, the Cesar salad mediocre. Finally the grilled chicken salad arrived, it was tasty. The sour dough rolls were good. To her credit the waitress repeatedly apologized for the delays.

The waitress was incredible and its killing me that I can't remember her name. Hard to explain, but she had a really good vibe and was super positive. For the price the food was outstanding. Everybody enjoyed their meals. I had the New York and it was cooked perfect. The loaded baked potato hit the spot and the cesar salad was delicious.

While traveling Hwy 99 recently, I walked across the hotel parking lot to Perko's Cafe and Grill for an early dinner. The menu was less than inspiring. I ordered California burger in hopes it would be edible. Well, this burger was cooked to perfection, juicy and fresh. The bun was grilled, brushed with butter and spices and filled with avocado, red onions, dill pickles, lettuce and American cheese. The best burger I've ever had. A big shout out to Lupe for cooking up a great burger and to waitress Christyn. You rock!

My daughter and I stopped here on our drive home from Chico to San Diego. The choices were amazing, we had to find reviews to help us pick. I got the tri-tip sandwich(Chimichuri Melt) which had awsome flavor combination and just the right meat to bread ratio. My daughter had the California Salad and it was excellent. We loved the casual but nice atmosphere and our waitress was soo nice, friendly, smiley, happy. We got our food very fast and I could not have asked for a better experience for what we were doing that evening. If in Modesto again, I will be going here. Plus it is right next to a Costco, so you can stop, have a reasonably quick and excellent dinner, then fill your tank for the rest of the journey. Easy access off freeway!
