Sweeneyâs is one of our favorite's in Brentwood, truly enjoy the food & the service is friendly & great. Sometimes it get pretty crowed, but its worth the wait. I had some minestrone, along with some meat ravioli, we started the meal off with some crab cakes which were perfect, could of made a meal of just them. The bar is always full and a great place to hang out. If you out in Brentwood make plans to dine in and enjoy the food and atmosphere, highly recommended. We're honored to be one of your favorite places in town! Crab cakes are always a delicious choice, and we're glad you enjoyed them as a great start to your meal. Looking forward to seeing you here again soon! Cheers, Peter & Veronica, Owners

Took a while for me to find someone to seat me (signage mis-directed me to the patio), but once seated, the meal was excellent. Nice wine list, great service, wonderful food. Had the Seafood Salad, which was amazing, along with an Italian white wine. Added a side of sauteed mushrooms, which was a generous serving. Nice touch that they provide bread with butter and basalmic/oil.

Bringing upscale dining in a warm casual atmosphere to Downtown Brentwood featuring the menu of Executive Chef Jesus Martinez since 2016.
We ate here a few days ago for lunch and it was crazy. My husband placed his order asking for medium rare meat and the waiter return to say the meat is precooked and it wouldnât be medium rare. So he picked something else and they same thing happened. He finally settled for French dip and of source it as well done but good enough. We always enjoy dinner here but definitely wonât return for lunch.
Neighborhood Family fun establishment. Service is always good and the staff is outstanding. This is the place people always want, close to home, good food, good service , support the community. There is a full bar here and it does sometimes get load but this is a place you are always welcome and the service and food you can count on.

First and last time dining at Vic Stewart's. We took our out-of-town guest here because the husband like old-fashioned steakhouses. Ambiance and service was very good, but all of us were really disappointed with the poor quality and dryness of our meats (prime rib, New York steak, rib eye). Why the weird sauces? Who puts barbecue sauce on a rib eye - perhaps to hid to cut of the meat? Prices are high ($20 for a martini), so this is an establishment where you would expect better quality. Too bad, because it is only 2 miles from our house. We will drive to Walnut Creek instead.

You cannot purchase the ingredients for what they sell it for at Mac's Old House. Old school with a limited menu. Just good. Just really priced to make you smile. If I lived in Antioch, I would never cook again. Veggies are andante. Bread is warm. Prime rib to die for. Soup pot obviously never empties. Rich and thick. Mom wished she could cook this good. Hope to come again. If there were a 7 dot for value, this joint would get it.

If youâve never visited Black Bear Diner before, then you have no idea what youâre missing⦠and if youâve been here in the past, we canât wait for you to come back. Our delightful Oakley staff prides itself on providing the very best in service, not to me
My family and I went there for breakfast and although they were packed were seated pretty quickly and served fairly quickly. The food was very good, even for my husband who is a very picky eater! I had the California Bacon Benedict which was delicious. My husband and son had the chicken fried steak with gravy and fried eggs that were done to perfection. Everything was cooked perfectly and the service was really good. We will return there again for breakfast or another meal.
