Chef Patrick greeted us and we immediately became friends. He is very interested in learning what customers like and if they have special needs. I am from Alaska and grew up on Salmon but he said his Salmon was special. We had it and it was like no other dinner we ever had. Most things in restaurants are swimming in heavy sauces but he uses herbs and spices which bring out the flavor of Salmon. We came back the next night and ordered the same dish! Chef Patrick is a master of French-California cuisine.

Delicious menu includes contemporary American and German. I had the Jagerschnitzel with mushroom gravy and it was fantastic! The restaurant has a full bar, and a nice view out over the Russian River. Outside seating is available in warm weather. Would definitely recommend for dinner!

This is a gem for lunch!! The tri tip sandwich is excellent! They even accommodate gluten free by putting the. Meat in a bed of greens. Get the ceaser too!Outside beautiful setting. Top quality. Get s bottle of bubbly for $12... get 5 glasses. Really good!
This place serves the absolute best Israeli breakfast this side of the Mississippi. You have to try the shakshuka, the sabich, burekas, and Turkish coffee, which are all standard menu items, along with many more. You will be blown away by the options and the quality. Very, very easy to go full vegetarian here without even trying (but they do also serve meat dishes).Go and meet this charming young couple making a name for themselves in west Sonoma County, and ask them how they came up with the name for their venture.

We've been going here for years, enjoy the sandwiches without being overly enthusiastic. Always wanted to try their egg and biscuit dishes, but they've always run out by the time we get there! Still, reliable and decent food.

First I have to mention that this place is in need of renovation. The inside is dark and dreary with natural wood walls that haven't been maintained after many years being in business and the bathroom is almost grouse. My husband was satisfied with the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich and the cup of bean/pulled pork soup that he ordered. I ordered a special of the day Chicken Enchilada with beans and rice. I am positive I was served the take out ready-made chicken enchilada you can buy in Costco...am sure of this because we've purchased them many times for a quick meal at home ourselves. It was a disappointment as I expected to see fresh enchiladas on my plate. Service was slow and the price was higher than we would have paid at our favorite Mexican restaurant where the enchiladas are made fresh.

Took the family for a Thanksgiving dinner. Food was good. Price was high. Portions were small (most of us remained hungry). Had no meaningful kids menu. Service was very slow (30 minutes to get water...

Three of us went there for dinner after visiting the Armstrong Redwoods Reserve. Two got the fish and chips which were delicious. I had recently been put on a very restrictive diet by my GI doctor and was nervous about what I'd eat. Fortunately, I was able to order something within the guidelines - a simple dinner of chicken and carrots - but wow! It was so good!! I mean...those carrots...where did they come from? The Garden of Eden??? I never thought a simple side of carrots could be so delicious and cooked to perfection. The service was good and the restaurant was clean. Highly recommend.

Very Cute décor. The Appetizers are great, mixed beets, mac and cheese, the burrata. All yummy. The main dishes were great too, however - We had two orders of black Cod in a really yummy broth but one of the orders still had bones. We had two burgers but one had 1/8 thick cheese, the other with 1/2 inch! One with nice fries, the other with half crunchy bits. Both were overcooked. We ordered a steak medium well, it came out medium rare. Weâve heard excellent things about boon...will need to try again. That being said, of the choices in Gurneville for a really nice meal at a pretty good price, Boon is it. Wait staff was fantasic.

Good Food Made Fresh. Hearty breakfast and Lunches. Slow smoked BBQ.
Wonderful breakfast in the redwoods. Best in town. Dog friendly too and clean. Hash browns alone were worth it
