ZAGAT describes the restaurant best when they write âVictorian delights abound at this charming, period Mendocino Hotel restaurant kitted out with a dark-wood interior and a Californian menu thatâs right on the mark; order small plates â or if nothing els
The breakfast is indeed very good, with dungeness crab eggs benedict along with simpler fare. The orange juice is fresh squeezed, the coffee good and refilled constantly. For dinner I suggest sitting at a table in the bar area or the lobby and ordering off the appetizer and bar menu. Soups, salads, calamari, good fries: you can have a very satisfying meal that doesn't end in a big-city bill.

100% Local & Organic The culinary team at Wild Fish procure produce locally from farmers, fishermen & women and foragers - the fish is always wild and fresh. Everything is made from scratch and in house.
I just love Wild Fish. We dined there tonight and enjoyed oysters on the half shell, excellently prepared fish with lovely locally grown vegetables, very good local wines paired with each course, and shared the sticky toffee pudding. The chef really knows fish. They have added service people who do a very good job. Dining at Wild Fish alone justifies a trip to Mendocino or Little River.

Family hospitality meets fine cuisine at this landmark coastal resort. Looking out upon magnificent ocean and garden views, the Little River Inn Restaurant is well known for its comfortable atmosphere and enticing fresh local fare. Executive Chef Marc Dym
We ordered the seared Scallops and a Snapper dish. The Scallop dish was surrounded by green peas and a bed of herbed orzo. The peas were so fresh yet crunchy, and the scallops amazingly tasty. Truly hats off to the Chef!! The Server (an elderly man) even gave us a small box of the chef's fudge since we didn't have room for dessert that night. Oh, and yes, we even enjoyed a sea view from our table at the window. We will definitely return on our next trip to the Mendocino coast.

Open everyday but Tuesday (all we ask is one day a week to sleep in a little) at 8:00 + Open to the Public! In 1862, just ten years following the arrival of the first settlers on the Mendocino Coast (and a year before Lincoln's Gettysburg Address), mill o
The cottage where the restaurant is located has lovely views from many of the tables. There are birds galore to watch in the garden around the cottage. The food was excellent. Fabulous rosemary potatoes with many of the offerings. The chef really knows how to cook eggs right too. Pleasant service, although very languid. Not a place to go to in a rush. :-)

Epic view of the Pacific and Mendocino Bay. Deck and bay window views. Fresh, local, organic cuisine, skillfully blended by chef Matt Samuelson. Whale watching from our second-story view, December through May. Beautiful sunsets most evenings. A great plac

Second time here. Had to include the stop while my wife and I are on vacation. Great location off highway 1, good parking. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Place was clean including the restrooms. Food was really good with large portions. But being hot, they had all the doors and windows open, and we all had to fight hundreds of flies landing on our plates!

Victorian style hotel has a nice restaurant and bar area. Several tables in atrium area and along outside porch have nice views of garden and a little ocean. Nice familiar Menu items and specials. We opted for asparagus omelet that was moist and tasty. Good coffee too. You will be pleased with service too.

Weâve been to Pattersonâs probably 5 or 6 times and have always enjoyed it (thus the repeat visits). This last visit was for drinks only at 4:00 ... sat at the bar and were seen to by a very friendly woman. We were engaged almost immediately in good conversation with our bar mates ... A very eclectic bunch (including us!). If you enjoy a COLD beer and interesting folk ... dis is da place!

We had just pulled into town around lunchtime and stopped at the Mendo Cafe for a quick bite. The service was adequate but the food was excellent. No real complaints on the service- our server was prompt and polite. I had the Thai Hot Pot. It was filled with flavor and it was a generous portion. My husband had an egg dish special that he said was good as well. Lunch on the patio was pleasant as the weather was ideal.

Trillium is a restaurant and inn. We think of ourselves as casual fine dining, with indoor and outdoor dining, weather permitting. We focus on serving fresh, seasonal, organic California cuisine. We try to source as many things locally as possible. Local,
My friend and I enjoyed lunch here very much. I would order the Avocado Toast next time. The gal next to me had it and I was so jealous. The service was great and we were able to get right in on a week day without reservations. Trillium was recommended by several people and they were right. The only thing missing is the Ocean View and I will take great food over that any day!
