Went there for Motherâs Day, food was okay, nothing to write home about. Ordered a couple Bloody Maryâs, tasted ok but were served in a low ball cocktail glass only filled little over half full! Had a prime rib sandwich, not much meat! The fillet beef flatbread was very good, it was an appetizers, not a huge menu to pick. The salmon was also very good, nice portion. Wonât be back!

Terraced above the beach, with waves breaking just 25 feet below, the casually elegant Splashes Restaurant boasts some of California's best views and finest cuisine. Whether seated in the dining room or alfresco on the palm-shaded patio, you'll enjoy Amer
My husband requested a table by the ocean, was told that couldnât be guaranteed. We accepted that and waited for our table, for an ok table. Watched someone who came after us be seated at an ok table and then moved to the table we would have wanted. WTF why the special treatment for others? Not ok-some sort of precedent needs to be setDear Jan S,Thank you for bringing your concern to us. Although we cannot promise specific tables during reservation, we certainly guide our hosts to sit guests at the best available table. I can understand how disappointing it can be when we give the impression of special treatment. We value all of our guests equally and try our best to accommodate requests as guests come in.Please reach out to me at your convenience to discuss your experience. My direct line is 949.376.2758 and email [email protected],Ante DapicDirector of Food & BeverageSurf & Sand Resort

Watermarc is a chef owned & operated local gem in the heart of Laguna Beach offering interesting & inspired daily seafood specials and an array of imaginative grazing plates.
We arrived a little early for our reservation, and they gave us option of table inside or waiting for our patio reservation. We decided to wait at the bar, and have some drinks (had good service from Anthony the bartender). The host kept updating us on the status of our table. Unfortunately, the table did not clear as quickly as they thought, and ultimately took a table inside (slightly disappointing) but the service and food more then made up for this minor inconvenience. We had the octopus, bacon wrapped dates, seafood paella and short ribs, all amazing! Great service from our waiter who went out of his way to help out with food allergies. Great experience overall.

I enjoyed this place. Loved the view on a sunny afternoon. I didn't find the food to be so great, and the lunch menu was very limited. The drinks were great and the staff was very nice.

Wandered in on a Sunday around noon and we were seated immediately in the front patio area. The menu is pretty simple and we decided to split the Spanish Octopus as a starter. Oh my goodness, it was so incredibly good. Very fresh salad (arugula with a lemon vinaigrette) with grilled (to perfection) octopus. A day later and I am still thinking about it. Do not hesitate to order this. Next time, I am not splitting it with my husband. We then each ordered the fish tacos. The server offered to bring a hotter sauce on the side and I wouldnât call it hot, but it brought a nice flavor to some already delicious fish tacos. We each ordered a beer and it was a perfect Sunday afternoon lunch. Eat here. You wonât be disappointed.

We met another couple here for dinner â they love this restaurant. It definitely gets top marks for the professional service. The atmosphere was nice and the historic house where it is located has some character. Food was excellent and the quality was obvious. Tip: Valet parking is in the back.

This historic little shack by Crystal Cove national park is a MUST-VISIT! Do not leave Laguna without a stop here, you won't regret it! On a family vacation years ago, we drove right by this place advertising its "Famous Date Shake!" Sadly, we didn't stop. Years later, on a second visit to Laguna, I was determined to try that shake. Yes, parking is tricky and limited. Yes, you WILL wait in line. And, yes, IT WILL BE WORTH IT. This place has some history, dating back to the original owners in the 1920s. Can't get more classic than that! Today it still serves the famous Date Shake, along with a plethora of other flavors to suit everyone's taste. I highly recommend trying the date shake, though, because it is truly delectable and different! The slight sweetness is not overwhelming and the thickness of that shake requires a spoon. SO GOOD. It is the BEST MILKSHAKE I HAVE EVER HAD THE PLEASURE OF EATING! And I've had my fair share...While you're there, get some food too. After all, you waited in line, though it goes fast! They have great sandwiches, delicious burgers, and some healthier options, as well. We tried the hot dog and the chicken salad sandwich, both of which were fresh, hot, made to order, and the fries were on point, too! Do yourself a favor and grab a seat on the patio with a beautiful view of the beach. When you have finished your AMAZING diner meal, go explore the tide pools of Crystal Cove and see what critters you can find. Look, but don't touch, as it is prohibited to disturb the wildlife. I will go back here every time I go to Laguna beach. It is a truly worthwhile, fun, scenic, and typical Laguna Beach experience! You will not regret it!

The Montage is wonderful, beautiful, and enchanting. MIT is also very dear, as such places are. But is you stop there for a drink, before going to eat in one of the fine restaurants in the area, you can have your enchantment, and keep you bankroll somewhat intact also. The piano players there at cocktail hour are excellent, and the views are staggering. EnjoyThank you for writing us a review and for complimenting our views - they truly are beautiful! We look forward to welcoming you back very soon.Sincerely, Anne-Marie HoustonGeneral ManagerMontage Laguna Beach
