Come on now, itâs Dennyâs. The staff changes, the menu prices go up. Service is usually slow and the place always looks like 1000 people have eaten there & used the bathroom before you... because they have. I only order breakfast at Dennyâs, but I prefer Cable Car Cafe in South S.F. When in the area.

This tiny gem is tucked away in the Castro district, a short walk from the theater. The neighborhood almost defines San Francisco's inclusiveness and it seemed we had escaped a cross between New York and Disneyland to find real people living real lives. Arrive and write your name on the chalkboard immediately. Waits can be long, but if you're willing to sit at the counter, you won't starve before you're seated.>>>> The menu is "focussed" but inclues a classic cioppino and several fresh fish dishes. We had the Dungenous crab, it was good, but we were there in the last weeks of the season and we're betting it would have been better during the winter. The chowder-- included with the crab-- was to die for. We've spent lots of time in Boston, and this version would make a chowderhead proud.>>> Beer is drawn from four taps, but they're pretty well selected to be sure that you'll have something you like and they acompany the seafood nicely. I heard so much about Original Joeâs. I took a friend for a birthday lunch. To my surprise I felt like I was in a 1950âs movie. The restaurant is 50âs style very very clean, good music, excellent customer service. The food is excellent!! To much to select from the menu. A large selection of Italian & America food. I had the Shrimp and avocado sandwich. This place is awesome!!! The serverâs wearing Black and White tux it gave the restaurant a classy feeling. There is a full bar for well drinks. There is plenty of free parking in their lot. There is a area in the back for very large parties. Original Joeâs is wheelchair accessible. The menu is on the pricey side but!! Itâs worth it with the great customer service you receive. I will be returning very soon.Hi there, thanks for visiting us and for taking the time to leave us a review! We continuously strive to provide both excellent food and service and always love to see when our guests feel that we've fulfilled just that! Small, very small sandwich shack. Go early before bread runs out! The sandwich is HUGE. Garlic spread is a must. We tried roast beef, Black Forest ham, and ultimate club while in town for the week. Get the black forest ham for slight upcharge in the club. Otherwise I think you get cheaper grade boiled ham. The bacon on the club was wimpy, could use some crunch.

There is a general atmosphere of unwelcoming, lack lackluster, non-guest focused atmosphere.Despite being open until 11 p.m., a gentleman reported a portion of the restaurant was off limits. The bar/restaurant was an acoustic nightmare with voices amplified as if in a 55 gallon steel drum. Sarah was lackluster. Clam chowder was tasty. Caesar salads merely o.k. Grilled chicken dry.Buffet breakfast foods were lukewarm. Over-easy eggs broken, but nevertheless brought to the table. Check was delivered without a pen. This area also has a steel barrel acoustical ambiance.

Landed at SFO (after a 5-hour flight) hungry for breakfast and fortunately found this welcoming cafe a short drive away. Huge portions and healthy options. Open-air patio and bright interior. Appreciated the bottomless coffee, too. If youâre hungry, try the 2x2x2: pancakes or French toast; eggs; bacon or sausage or ham.
