We had heard good things about Edelweiss so my wife and I went there for breakfast. We decided to split Chicken fried steak and eggs. This was more than enough for both of us. The gravy was fantastic. The server met us with a smile and greetings. It's just a small restaurant in up-town Auburn but they know how to cook and serve. We will make this a regular stop. I can't wait to try them for lunch.

Visiting Sweetpea's is always a pleasant treat. Entertaining servers/helpers start the visit off with a smile. Breakfast is the specialty here and you won't be disappointed. The servings are bordering on huge and the quality is first rate. You really can't go wrong here, definitely worth a visit if you have not yet had the experience.

We have a large indoor dinning area, complete with bar & lounge. When the weather is nice, enjoy our outdoor patio. For larger groups, parties, business meetings and such we have a banquet room for rental throughout the whole year!
Our Server Urka greeted us with a huge smile from the moment we walked in. We were seated immediately and she made us feel special. We had the vegetable stir fry and the Asian salad. Both were delicious and very satisfying. I would highly recommend this as a fun and delicious place for lunch or dinner.

If someone were to ask us what the best thing is about the Black Bear Diner in Auburn, we wouldnât be able to choose. Is it the appealing interior⦠the experienced staff⦠the delicious food? The answer is simple â itâs all of these things. We have gone ou
Nice and close right off the Forest Hill exit on highway 80. Extremely courteous and professional wait staff. The 2-egg breakfast with thick smoked bacon was off the hook delicious. Their coffee is piping hot (just how I like it) and they have those great little flavored creamers. I will definitely stop thru here on my next road trip.

Great service and reasonable prices along with tasty food. We ordered the mixed green salad with salmon and pesto and also the curry chicken pita sandwich with fries. Both were good but the sandwich was a little dry and lacked flavor. The salad was also good but hubby says next time he'll order Caesar with salmon instead. It gets very busy especially on the weekends so we prefer to go in early around 4:30 or 5:00.

Atmosphere is really nice, and it helps that you're already in cute historic downtown Auburn. The wine selection is amazing, and the bottle prices aren't terrible compared to retail (for some). The food is really good, but they kind of nickel and dime you for the small portions served. I don't feel that I should've had to pay for bread and butter, especially when my entree doesn't come with any substantial sides that I don't have to order and pay for separately.BUT all in all, it is a nice place to go for a fancy dinner out and the ambiance is great.

This place isnt much to look at but the food is top notch! I've searched far and wide for a good french dip in the Sacramento area and this place has exactly what I wanted. The french dip deluxe comes with grilled onions, peppers and mushrooms, smothered in swiss cheese. The au jus is thick and flavorful. It comes with a side salad or fries. They are known for their giant omelets so I'll be back soon to give one a try. Good, quick service in the heart of downtown Auburn!

Brian & Lisa Ford opened Auburn Alehouse Brewery & Restaurant in 2007 in the iconic Shanghai Restaurant, embracing the building's character and colorful history in the heart of Historic Auburn. While enjoying their full bistro menu, patrons can often see
Consistently good food and good service. We had a small issue with our order not being correct, but the staff comp'd us the order and made it right!

This was a good stop for diverse appetites. Eggs Benedict a dozen ways, croissant meals, burgers, scrambled and more. Plenty of parking and convenient off the interstate. Friendly staff made for a pleasant visit.

Cash only restuarant (they have an atm) serving breakfast, brunch and lunch right off highway 49. The usual omelettes, pancakes and waffles and they have a weekend special list that includes benedict's. I like that you can get the option of half fruit and half potatoes with any meal. Wait times can be long and seating is limited. I was sat next to the register and unfortunately had to listen to my waitress gossip about the lack of tips she was getting which was a little off putting...over a hour wait for food and eggs were over hard, not over easy for my friend, my yolks were solid for my benedict...kinda defeats the point of a bene. And food was warm not hot. Cant say that I'll be back but it was worth a try.
