After a rough night in Victorville (ALL hotels were sold out) Woke up needing food to fuel me back to L.A. Located Molly Brown's Country Cafe. Its a small place connected to Sunrise Motel. I ordered the Vegetable skillet. it comes with toast, biscuit, banana bread or pumpkin bread. I chose banana bread...it comes warm with a dollop of butter. Excellent and enough to share. The skillet has mushrooms, broccoli, onions, bell pepper tomatoes over crispy on the bottom soft in the middle hash browns and your style of 2 eggs. This place closes at 2:30 so get there early. If you are looking for somewhere to eat a hearty breakfast while traveling I-15. Exit at Mojave Drive and look Molly Brown up. You won't be dissapointed

Food is pretty good, but if the kitchen is anything like the bathroom, run away. How the health dept. misses this is a mystery.
American Bar/Grill
Some of the mom/pop restaurants in the area close early so after spending the day exploring Lucerne, Apple Valley and the roads around was happy to see this place open! Easy to get to off the main road. Lots of indoor seating and a patio that we should have checked out- Good choice of burgers-salads and ribs= lots of options on the menu! The 'Texas Squealer" with pepper jack cheese, jalepeno was super tasty! Had a quiet table- clean bathroom and lots of pleasant service! Plan to return if ever back in the area!

Red Robin has a menu consisting of a wide variety of burgers. The bottomless steak fries are hard to beat. So, getting back to the burgers. My two favorites are 1. Burnin Love 2. Chop house. The Burnin Love has deep fried jalapeño coins, (I always ask for fresh jalapeno's on the side)I like extra spicy. The Chop House has horseradish, so again with the spicy. Did I mention bottomless steak fries, oh yes I did. Service is pretty good too.

At Jersey Mikeâs, we offer a sub above â one thatâs measured in more than inches or seconds âtil served. We carefully consider every aspect of what we do â every slice, every sandwich, every store â we provide our customers with sustenance and substance t
To me, it is yet another sub-shop. Has a somewhat surfing theme, not something I associate with the Atlantic (Jersey - also part of the decor). I do not go to restaurants to admire their decor. The food might be marginally better than typical sub shops, not enough so that you would really notice. Worst thing about it, is cramped seating, but that also seems typical for sub shops. Good if you are in the area, not worth driving out of you way for, in my opinion.

Drove to Apple Valley to visit Grandma, taker and her care giver to breakfast. Caregiver recommended Slirit River Cafe. We were skeptical but didnt know the area enough to make our own suggestion. We got there and waited outside. We were told 15 to 20 minutes but waited closer to 40. We got to our tablee and sat. Menus had typical country breakfast selections. So at out table there was coffee, waffles with berries and whipped cream, thee over easy eggs, biscuits and sausage gravy, a ham steak around 3/4" thick and 10" diameter, hash browns fried in oil we sooo crispy, toast, juice, more. Everything was oversized. Everything was prepared perfectly as we ordered. The service was outstanding. Ambiace was quaint, country sweet. We will go back. For sure.
