Reviewed By GrandTour41320751119We visited the Royale Exotica hotel in the first week of June. The rooms were clean, staff was well mannered. The breakfast spread is good making sure kids to seniors will like it. The check in can be early. The staff helped us get at-least one room early. The best part it is nice hotel near to the beach. You can walk to the beach in 2 min They also provide packed breakfast if needed.

Room rent was Rs 4200 for two AC rooms with complimentary breakfast. +Ves 1) Courteous reception and other staffs 2) Wellmaintaned room, for the price you pay 3) Power backup 4) Wellmaintained pool 5) Reasonably priced bar and restaurant -Ves 1) 1.5 KMs away from Calangute Beach 2) Food items are limited for the complimentary breakfast 3) One of the reception staff, the guy with pony tail hair, is eager to over sell car on rent. He suggested a i20 for Rs3k, while it was available outside at Rs1.3k. Overall a good hotel for budget stay.

Reviewed By ACHAL GWe stayed at this hotel during the month of March this year, the hotel is in a peaceful location with a very good view, the rooms and bathrooms are neat and clean, the owner Mr. Abhishek helped us with our other bookings as well like the casino and water activities. Would like to stay here again.

Reviewed By 980ramenmVery recommendable hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Quieter than on the main Baga road, but only 15 mins walk to the beach. Food quality very good. Rooms around the pool can be noisy, quieter wooden chalet options at the back.

Reviewed By Ebukap786The standout part is staff, owner Rahilbhai and manger Yasinbhai with whom I had multiple conversion and was always there to help, the staff was always friendly and always ready to help and owner is far more happy to strike conversation with. We had dinner at the hotel multiple times and food prepared were very good be Chinese or on special request fish. The location is good with just 300 m from Calangute beach with car rentals as well as other package tour office nearby on the way to beach.

Worst service and arrogant owner
Reviewed By Sachu_p24The service is pathetic owner Mr John is extremly arrogant. Please don't stay there, it is waste of time and money. The rooms are not hygienic and clean at all. Once you pay the advance, the owner will start ignoring the service and later will ask for more money. The owner will ask for cash and not provide the bill to avoid paying GST. AC works only for 1 hour, no water water and frequent power cuts without any power back up. Wifi also doesn't work at all. Fridge doesnt work at all. Owner is extremely rude and doesn't give respect at all. Owner is spoiling the name of Goa tourism. It is not not even worth a single star. Most pathetic experience of stay in Goa.

Reviewed By Raju SBlue Marine Beach Resort is hotel run by a Goan family. Room were offered to us at Rs. 1000. Check out time 11 am. We stayed 2 days in this hotel. In Calangute very few hotels are there with parking facility. This hotel is one having ample parking space in front. Otherwise one has to park the car in common car parking with Rs. 50 for 8 hours. There are two such common parking place for cars. One near the beach & other at 200 meter distance from it. The things that I like about this hotel are: 1. Hotel owner is very helpful 2. He helps for water sports, or island trip at reasonably less rates compared to other 3. Hotel is very near to beach within 2 minutes of walk. 4. Restaurants are also available nearby 5. Ample parking space for car (Photo is attached) 6. Rooms are quite ok (Photos of room from all angles are attached) 7. Hot water is available provided solar water is charged for it 8. Towel is provided along with bath soap 9. Room cleaning is done on alternate days 10. Fans are working 11. They accept card payment The impressive thing for me is the body lotion soap bottle. I liked it very much & I requested owner to give me 10 quantities for reasonable price. The owner said he can't give that much instead he gave me only 2 bottles for free. I was happy as I need it bcoz I frequently travel with overnight stay. This bottle is excellent to carry & soap lotion has excellent fragrance. I have attached the photo of soap & bottle pack. The things that I liked less at this hotel are: 1. Room boys are not that of service oriented attitude 2. Even though they cater for food in their hotel, the open ambiance plus dining chair table is less good 3. Even though swimming pool is there on the terrace, it needs clean maintenance I have attached it's photo 4. One can't have his own beer at the swimming pool, instead it needs to be purchased from the blue marine beach resort 5. Boys or men only wearing short makes too much noise while going to the swimming pool 6. Plenty of black ants in bathroom 7. Bathroom light was flickering continuously The one common thing I noticed at most of the hotels in Goa is that you can negotiate the room price. The moment you start walking away from the hotel they start to reduce price. I would recommend this hotel for short stay. If you wish for long stay, then Falcon Beach Resort near Calangute GTDC (Goa Tourism Development Corporation) which is very close to beach is the best option for long stay. Rooms are excellent in Falcon Beach Resort. Ambiance is also very good. Single room Rs. 800 & double Rs.1200. Only bcoz of car park my friend chose Blue Marine Beach Resort in place of Falcon Beach Resort.

Hotel name change
Reviewed By Storyteller595408We booked hotel in April 2019, name was changed in March but no e-mail to say it had a name change from who we booked it through. Now it is Fab seashore beach resort. We stayed one night, the room they gave us smelt bad We asked for a different room It was not much better, one push of the door and frame or window you would be in the room. There was a hole in the shower room you could see up to the next floor they put some ply over it. The breakfast menu was a Indian not European. The only good thing about the hotel was it was near the beach.

If British stay in Candolim Beach not Calangute
Reviewed By BOWLES2We had breakfast included, it consisted of 1 omelette per person. That it. Had to beg for a drink to go with it. As a female I felt very intimate-dated, the owner was nice however his friend which was there non stop gave me lots of unwanted attention with rude remarks. Felt unsafe to be honest. If British stay in Candolim Beach not Calangute, felt much more comfortable. A lot of people were surprised we stayed in Calangute.
