It's a chain restaurant which serves german food south american style. I had the "logo poorer" which is steak and chips with onions and 2 fried eggs on top ... you won't go hungry! Food was good enough and the waiter checked that the steaks were done to our liking (you order 1/4=rare, 1/2=medium, 3/4=well done in Chile). More of a cafe look and feel than a full service restaurant but they got the job done.

We received a welcome drink upon check-in. Decided to have it with our meal on 2nd night. It was given to another couple (lucky them). They brought us our drink, then completely ignored us. My husband had to ask for bread after several minutes . The meal was over cooked but tasted good. We are English speaking but know some Spanish so are able to get by. Fortunately for them I don't know enough Spanish to complain because I would have told them how I felt. A small tip was given to show that the service was poor. We will not be back to eat here on our last night.

There are few decent restaurants in Calama for tourists, this one is world class in all respects. The interior is well decorated. The waiters are knowledgeable. The steaks are excellent, made right in front of you. Drinks are perfect.
Be prepared to empty your wallet, as the prices are sky high.
We would return.

They do have a few well know chinese preparations, something hard to find in Chilean Chinese food. Dishes are generous and you might probably want to take home the huge leftovers. The place is huge and service is incredible good for Calama standars, they are gentle, dedicated and fast. The only bad thing is the high volume of the TV set that they keep playing kids stuff, so you can hardly hear your companion.

Atmosphere and welcome were good at this restaurant but menu contained over 50 choices - too many to be good and in fact one member of our group was ill afterwards. Food was over complicated too much sauce hiding taste of main ingredients No wine available. Would not recommend.

We have been here as we found this restaurant on top of Trip Advisors list. The ambience is very nice as well as the prices - therefore we expected some great dinner. Unfortunately the request for one vegetarian meal could not be fulfilled at all so that we went for seafood. Both meals have been eatable but nothing more. The probably self made bread before has been of much better quality. Desert (chocolate cake) would have been great without that much crumbles. The bar showed a great range of fine bottles which we did not go for. Maybe the bartender is better than the chef. In the end we paid much for leaving an empty restaurant disappointed.

My husband and I frequented this restaurant often while living in Calama. The chicken and Rustico Sandwich were excellent and portion size was huge. One plate could easily feed two people and the prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. Definitely a restaurant I recommend.

Si bien ya dejó de ser una picada, es el mejor lugar de comida peruana en Calama. Lo mejor: el sour y el ceviche pulpo camarón.
El fin de semana tienen música en vivo al almuerzo (un poco fuerte).
