This aparthotel in Cala'n Bosch is located in Minorca, the beautiful Mediterranean island declared as a Protected Natural Biosphere. This island offers not only spectacular landscapes and untouched natural settings but also well preserved beaches and little bays. Paradise Club & Spa**** is a luxurious complex located at 100 m from the port and about 400 m from the beach. It offers both 42 comfortable studios and 146 spacious apartments which have been completely refurbished. The complex has in its common installations comfortable saloons, bar and a restaurant with show cooking. The two exterior pools are surrounded by beautiful terraces and constantly well kept gardens. For the wellbeing of the guests, there is an own SPA that offers beauty and health treatments and for those who want to keep fit, there is a gym and a tennis court. Last but not least, the daily entertainments and performances at the theatre bar guarantee an all around fun experience for the entire family!

Reviewed By Vashka76This is a fantastic place, we definitely made the right choice in staying here. Apartments are modern, spotlessly clean with everything you need for a self catering break. It’s really peaceful with plenty of room around the pool - you can also take the beds from around the pool to your own patio which a lot of people did, particularly when it was windier and you needed shelter. The staff are great and go out of their way to help. They have lots of useful information such as bus times, info on cycle hire etc. Rooms cleaned every day. The bar area is really lovely but we felt it was a little soul-less. We didn’t eat here but heard the food was very good. An easy 15 minute walk to the Marina where all the restaurants are. We did have breakfast at the 2 Rocks just near to the apartments which was great value at 5 Euros for the breakfast of sausage, bacon, beans, hash brown, egg and toast. It’s also an easy walk along the sea front to the lighthouse where there’s a nice bar. It was our first visit to Menorca and we found it a little quiet for us and a bit dated - walking to the Marina every night got a bit boring after a few nights so I’m not sure we’d rush back but if we could stay in these apartments again in another place we definitely would as they were just lovely.

Nice and clean hotel great pools downside- terrible Food.
Reviewed By R1696CGjackcI am currently at the sol falco with young children (under 2). The swimming pools are great and very clean. The splash pool is brilliant for young children as it’s very shallow, however I think it is very dangerous as it’s right next to a deep pool where even a tall adult couldn’t touch the floor. This was not advertised properly, it was made to look as if only a shallow splash pool which is ideal, however that is not the case. With young children who are constantly on the move this was bit of a shock initially. Arm bands and life jackets to be worn. The rooms are very clean and tidy- fresh towels every day. The air con is touch and go sometimes very cool sometimes feels like it isn’t on. The food is terrible. The food is always freezing cold. Even the cooking station where pasta is cooked infront of you, it isn’t cooked for long enough and is stone cold. Having two under 2 there isn’t much to cater for the little ones. During a 10 night stay chips were only served once and were gone very quickly. Most people complain about the food and have to eat out which is sad considering they have paid for all inclusive. Overall I think something needs to be done about the awful food, otherwise you are going to lose a lot of custom.

Had to complain to the rep regarding food which was not so clever, not much to choose from, sometimes not very warm, some food burnt.. I asked for a freshly cooked pizza of which i was told by the cook that she'd just cooked one which when i bit into it it was black and burnt underneath, she then disappeared.. Nothing else warm to choose from so more bread for my meal. Personally go B&B

Instead of waiting at the reception we received a drink and could relax in the sun: no rush! We had some doubts about the hotel when booking: the 'old' style and the small rooms of 17m2. This is probably the first hotel where the hotel looks better than the pictures! It has a classic look, but is very clean, smells nice and has a great swimming pool and a very relaxing vibe. The room is way bigger than 17m2: it's about 30m2 (including bathroom). It has a classic style and the bathroom is a bit outdated, but everything works, is very clean and the bed is great! Breakfast is great too! There is a small buffet with fresh products and you can order freshly made eggs (all kinds), pancakes, smoothies, yoghurt etc. Also breakfast is very clean. The staff is also very friendly! We received a bottle of Cava on the room because something went wrong during check in. We also received a bottle of Cava on my birthday! Very nice this personal touch. It’s adults only, so it’s very quiet and relaxing. No loud music or loud talking / screaming people (most people (90%) we’re 65 years or older during our stay in May). Diner was ok, but I wouldn’t have diner here: Ciutadella is a beautiful city and there are many great restaurants! It’s about 10 minute drive or you can take a taxi for €15 / €20 (order at reception). Cala ‘n Bosch isn’t that great: very touristic and waiters trying to pull you in there restaurant. I would definitely go back to this hotel someday!

Reviewed By Grainne19322We have just returned home after spending a week in the Valentin Star Hotel. From the minute we arrived until we left we were very well looked after. We were given a bottle of cold water on arrival which was very welcome. Our bags were delivered to our room by a very pleasant young man. Our room was located on the ground floor and opened out to a lovely terrace which had two sun loungers also table and two chairs. We spent quite a bit of time out there as it was so comfortable. Room was large, bathroom good size and shower very good. All parts of the hotel are spotlessly clean. Pool is beautiful. We had booked for bed and breakfast but as the food was so good we ate dinner there five nights out of seven. So much variety and delicious. We were waited on in the restaurant by Gloria and she was absolutely wonderful. Great location 5 minutes to beach and right beside a lovely marina. We would definitely recommend the Valentin Star Hotel and we will definitely return in the future.

All facilities (beach, restaurants, shops, supermarket, bus stop etc.) are nearby. A perfect place to relax, enjoy and have a great holiday.
