I haven't been to Naples yet, but this was definitely the best pizza I've had so far. By the sea, glass of wine, no complaints.

Il Pescatore lived up to its reputation of having the utmost of respect for its ingredients and the way they were served. Seafood was cooked just right and, while we did pay just that bit more than some other restaurants within a square mile, it was a definite standout. On top of that the service was friendly, engaging and nothing seemed too much trouble. Thank you.

Great service, Huge Menu, Reasonable prices, Great local wine by the Jug. Highly recommend!! We ate here rice. Once outside and once inside due to high winds. Waiters can't do enough. Recommend Tagliatalli with mushrooms & truffle. And the Spinach Risotto.

We arrived around 9pm without a reservation and we were immediately seated outside. Dinner was delicious, quality of ingredients and presentation of the dishes were excellent, they also have a great selection of local wines. Waiters were very courteous as well. Overall, this was one of our best dinner experiences in Cala Gonone!

Il Nuovo Gabbiano Hotel Restaurant offers you delicious specialties from Sardinia and Italy, sometimes combining an innovative culinary viewpoint. We will reserve to you a warm welcome if you take a sit on the Terrace with sea view, where you could taste different fresh fish, local meat and handmade pasta.
The staff was polite although we could barely communicate and had a hard time explaining what we wanted when hey decide to come wait us.
Starter and main came at the same time. Luckily the starter was cold so I ate it after my main.
Pasta with clams was good but tasted like they used maggi instant noodle sauce to make the whagbtje waiter had said was white sauce, but really it was just clear transparent sauce.
The win in the carafe was so so and noting was given to keep it cool, compared to if you got a bottle. Lame for a 7€ half L order.
My wife took a caprese salade.. with boiled ham. That was a weird choose of offering but we tried it since it was one of the only dish without seafood. The mozzarella was no good, the salad plain with tomatoes. For 8-9€ I would have made a much nicer one.
We waited for the bill for about 15 minutes, a long wait when you want to leave. Finally it came. 3€ per person cover. Totally exaggerated.
Would it recommend. I think there's better spots to be found'and more affordable.

Do not expect sea view, do not expect fancy decoration or a trendy crowd. This place is specialized in fresh fish and sea food with no other pretension. There is a Terrace but for lunch it would be too hot. Fish is normally expensive, but here, i found it to be more affordable than elsewhere.

Went there for a Sunday dinner, they were fully booked but found us a table. We ate amazingly well, trying some of their nice sea food dishes (great shrimps!!) but decided to finish with a pizza, that was really good. But the main reason they deserve a 5 is due to the fact that, when we were leaving and the restaurant was really busy, Pietro (restaurant manager) was inside the kitchen by the pizza oven helping the cook speed up orders for the guests. This shows his concern on serving good food and make sure the guest are happy, even if that means doing it himself!
Congratulations!

We went here for drinks last night after Reading the good reviews. I'm glad we visited but I wouldn't return. There is a lively atmosphere because of the live music which was good - a plus! However, the service was terribly slow and not very hospitable. We were seated quickly and waited ages to be served, which seemed to be the case for most of the other tables around us. Our first drinks were very good so we ordered a speciality mojito as it's a Cuban bar. Having been to Cuba, I can honestly say there was not much authentic about the mojito, which was disappointing. I can make better ones myself! We asked for the bill which came quickly and they had added on a 20% tip. We always tip when we are out in the restaurants or bars here but felt this tip didn't match the service we recieved. Being typically English we didn't complain, paid and left. It's a shame this place didn't add up to the hype in the reviews for us.

Seriously. What is not to love about this place? It is so good that we are here two days in a row. Their cocktails are great as is the food. The best thing though is the friendly, efficient and excellent service- kind of rare around here! We also thought it was a good value for money. It does s located in a quiet spot away from the other tourist traps- go- you won't be disappointed!
