New menu and attitude - focusing on quality food, exceptional service, and a FUN environment for family and friends. Pitmaster Coy Mollega features special mountain recipes made in our high grade smoker with Barefoot Buddies Bar-B-Que sauce. The smell of smoked ribs, pulled pork and chicken will make your mouth water! Drop in for a visit or take out for your convenience. See you soon at Pier 42 at Sunset on beautiful Dale Hollow Lake.
With the exception of the kids meal, this was an extremely poor dinner outing. The ribs were tough, the portions tiny, prices entirely too high and the service slow. There are much better restaurants to go to in Byrdstown. We rarely make a negative review, but this was definitely warranted. Avoid at all costs.

Just good old-fashioned down home cooking. You can order off of the menu or get their hot bar and salad bar any day. They usually have fried chicken or fried catfish along with mashed potatoes and gravy coleslaw green beans and other down home Fixins. If you like comfort food this is the place to go in Byrdstown.

I visit Byrdstown a couple of times per year for bass fishing tournaments. I decided to try the DQ on this trip after the pre-tournament meeting concluded on Friday. The staff was a little short-handed, not used to an evening rush of bass fishermen, but they hustled and did a good job. Our food arrived timely. It was hot and very good. The store was clean and tidy.

The choclate covered vanilla cone is the bomb? Offered in small, medium, and extra large. Great price for soft service cream.
Although I am often tempted by the many favors of Blizzards, sundaes, and ice cream treats, I never sway from the original cone with choclate shell topping. Have ever tried the food at DQ but am very pleased with the ice cream.

Hickory smoked barbecue, including pulled pork, shoulder, tenderloin, chicken breasts, brisket, and ribs. Too many made from scratch side items to mention!
Who would have thought that the
Best BBQ in KY woukd be found in Albany st Hunters BBQ? Generous portions, friendly staff, bottomless drinks and condiments, and an entertaining atmosphere await every customer.
And the BBQ? Amazing! Sides? Delicious. Deserts? Off the chart (especially the honey cake).

Stop in for breakfast buffet, was greeted by a super friendly staff and very knowledgeable about the days events. The food was fresh and with many choices to satisfy any body's taste. They have bacon, patty and link sausage ham and fried chicken tenderloins, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, pancakes regular and blueberry and a nice selection of fresh pastries with a complete salad bar a true bargain to be had, makes you wonder how they make any money. Small tiwn hone cooking at it's finest. They also have fresh whole pies for take out. Tonight's buffet is seafood. This is definitely a planned stop when in this area again.

I have been coming here since they opened in December 2014. Absolutely love it! Great staff, good people and great prices on beer.

Having passed through Albany often, I can count on great food, service, and pick up some supplies. These folks have always "gone outa their way" to serve excellent foods. Today we got the tuna, custom prepped to our taste, and the meatball. Mmmmm !!! Makes hungry to think of it.

We love to try local restaurants when we travel. Looked forward to a good dinner here after reading reviews. We must have gone on an off night - Thursday. This was the worst meal we had on our 18-day road trip. The catfish was fingerlets, severely over breaded and over cooked. Couldn't taste the fish for the breading and couldn't pull the breading off the fish. Veggies were ok, but nothing to brag about. OK, so I'll just indulge in the homemade dessert to make up for the disappointing meal. No coconut pie available that night (before 6 pm), so I order the chocolate. When it comes out, it's very sad looking, like it had been sitting the case for several days. It tasted that way, too, virtually flavorless. Service was friendly enough, but lacked efficiency, especially for a slow night when there were only three tables with people at them.

We attended a private party with a large group, to celebrate the life of a coworker. The atmosphere is always casual & relaxing. The buffet was well presented, tasty, so fresh, & all prepared perfectly. We've eaten here a number of times, & always satisfied.
