This long time Ortakoy restaurant renovated its upstairs Terrace a few years ago. Reserve or arrive early or you risk sell outs of the more popular meze. It has tablecloths but down to earth atmosphere and fortunately for this neighborhood a very mixed demographic.

In the hotel klas you can find every type of dishes, meat..fish..desserts etc etc.. The people that work in the restaurant are very kind with the costumers.
You can take also narghile', and than during the past there is always a local musicist that song and sing for every type of musical taste.
Dishes good.

We had a fantastic dinner in this restaurant.
Starter meze dishes were definitely above average, shrimps in butter were fresh (as opposed to frozen) so was the fried calamari.
The grilled sea bass was cooked very very nicely (you should go for the large line caught ones rather than the small farmed ones and share between 2-3 people)
The bill was quite reasonable, service was kind and prompt.

We've ordered 2 fish for 4pp. 2 appetizers. No wine.
Fish are fresh. Good quality.
Waiters are friendly.
We've asked the menu, they said they dont have it, after 10min, they brought us the menu in turkish with the price in dollar 20usd for each plates. We spent 15min on discussing the price, they wrote us new prices finally.
The owner is originally Greece. He is very kind. He gave us 2desserts for free.
Total 280TL

I was invited by one of our dealer. Organisation was good. Typical Turkish music with a live band playing all evening. Food was average considering we were around one hundred guests. The restaurant reserved for us a private room upstairs and everybody was happy at the end. In terms of food you can find much better ones in Istanbul

Albatros restaurant, located in Buyukcekmece is in the middle of the sea with a walking passage from the seaside. So it has great sea view from almost each table. I prefer this place for breakfast, they serve nice selection of traditional Turkish breakfast. The price is 25 tl per person. If you come by car the is a huge carpark 5tl fee for all day. Also if you have children, you can take them to big playground just across this restaurant. Its a good way to get a promise from kids to have a good breakfast first.:) Sundays are very crowded so I would choose saturday as a nice weekend start.

The original Kebap coming from Bursa! Depending on the hour you could have a queue, but the food is amazing. Is a must if you go to Bursa. Try this typical dish if you go there!

We chose this resto because of the nice decoration.
we've ordered 6-7apetizers at 10-12TL each, 2dishes of seafood from the menu' one was around 20TL and a fish filet. No wines. The fish (140TL/kg)was soso and it was overcooked, lacks of salt and the freshness. The bill was exaggerated, the checked twice the menu', they overcharged us coz there was no seafood at 140TL/kg, all types of fish was lower than 120TL/kg.
Be careful if u travel to Turkey! Check well before order! Everything is in Turkish and the menu is not clear with the price.
We would like to eat well and pay with a reasonable price. If every price is well-stated, we accept our orders.
By the way, the resto is a no-smoking place (with signs shown) but the bosses smoked inside the resto anyway. We were so stinky after the diner! That was very unpleasant!
