There are lots of Thai places around this part of New Jersey, but so far, we've liked House of Thai the best - not only because of the food and the reasonable prices, but because the staff is very friendly, and they deliver both at...MoreThat’s awesome that you tried something new!! No need to drive down to Clifton, Garfield or Harrison... Kielbasa is fantastic as are the periogies. Have them fried up for you with some onions and bacon! YUM! Great soups and sandwiches as well. Definitely check out their daily special menu!

River of Beer has become our ‘go to’ place. Either sitting outside at a picnic table with the dog, or sitting inside and watching a game, it’s always fun and friendly. Bartenders Jacqueline and Kathy (not sure if I spelled them right) are so full of energy and right on top of anything you need!
Definitely recommend.

Making Homemade Ice Cream for 3 Generations!
The ice cream is excellent and very reasonably priced. This is a take out place, no indoor seating. There are a few benches in the parking lot. It's located on the highway so it's loud and not too scenic. But again, the ice cream is excellent.

I had a Chicken Salad sandwich on a Plain Bagel . The service was quick & easy while waiting I got something to drink. It was 3pm & the place was empty, just the way I like it; No waiting on line. I sat at a table in the window & enjoyed.

Pompton Queen Diner is a family-owned and operated diner since 1987. Pompton Queen is not your typical diner. Our modern and clean restaurant, outdoor patio, and extensive menu landed us as one of the top diners to eat in New Jersey. Our service is spectacular and our food speaks for itself. Our Chicken Taverna was featured as one of the top 20 best dishes in New Jersey. Customers love our cannoli pancakes which are made from scratch. For those health conscious individuals we have an array of healthy options to choose from. We have daily lunch and dinner specials and have a full bar with plenty of great drinks. With five TVs around our bar area, Pompton Queen is also a great place to kick back and watch your favorite sports game. Stop in any day any time cause we're open 24 hours, and have yourself one of the best meals you can find in New Jersey. We look forward to having you.

Good food, Jenny was an attentive server. Texas cod sandwich was spicy with jalapeños. Very tasty. Sweet potato fries were very good. The bartender pours a good pint of Guinness. What more could you want? Thanks for the review! We will let Jenny know of your kind compliment.

This is a great little coffee hut. The only downfall is that it is a bit pricey. However, that doesn't stp me from going every morning.

Our family enjoyed it very much! We were in mood for something good, local, fresh and unpretentious. So happy I remembered this was on my hit list. Food was great, generous, and its clearly a fav of many locals, bc all tables were seated. But our wait was short, so bonus!

Bagels
Slow service, average food, stingy portions. $6.50 for a Turkey sandwich with what seemed like 1piece of Turkey. Bagel with barely a tablespoon of cream cheese. One person ahead of me getting a bagel and coffee, 5 people working (Sat. AM), and it still took ten minutes. Guy had the nerve to take my order then pick up the phone and take another order before he made it. It used to be phenomenal 6-7 years ago. I moved out of the area and recently went back. There seems to be new owners. I won't be back.
