Amazing hotel in a city that’s OK

Amazing hotel super friendly staff and wonderful food, however we have 2 dogs and the city of Büsum is not very dog friendly compared to St.Peter Ording or Heiligenhafen. No sandy beach. We were also missing a swimming pool at the hotel where we could spend some time with our kids

Modern stylish house in Büsum
Reviewed By Michael MWe spent 2 nights there. Great stylish room with lateral sea view. Also all other part of the hotel are in a stylish not fancy way, almost scandinavian style but sea oriented. Had a great experience at Saturday‘s dinner, with a waiter recommending food, wine and digestif but NOT overselling.

Dejligt hotel med god service
Reviewed By Morten CWe were a Danish group that had our annual meeting, which took the Hotel Friesenhof. There was mastered both rooms and food, however, we had been put in the view that we Saturday could order a, la carte, but due bustle, it was the end of the season, this could not be done. The hotel is good, there are good rooms and a good wellnes dept. With good sauna but the steam room, very small, almost wardrobe that was a little cold feet. We experienced a really good service from all the staff and we had some good hours at the bar on Saturday night, where the bartender was really good and understood our wishes and humor.

Nice modern hotel with excellent service and great price
Reviewed By kitty32655Schelf is a nice small modern hotel about 1 minute from the city center. The room was a good size with a balcony and great view of the ocean (4th floor). The bed was also very comfortable. The hotel had a great indoor swimming pool and sauna (wet and dry). The service was outstanding. They accommodated all of my needs (room and other). I requested rubber boots to walk into the ocean at low tide, and they were able to find me boots from their basement. Free wifi (great connection) and free parking.

Lovely rooms, spotlessly clean, great location and great breakfast. We have booked to stay again this summer and cannot wait!

Nice with some limitations
Reviewed By ManfredJSNice small hotel in residential area in two 3-floor buildings on edge of town. No elevators. Front desk, breakfast room and lounge in main house. Rooms fully renovated and updated. Balcony to garden side a nice touch. Bathroom with walk-in shower, could have a larger vanity, though, the space is there. Buffet breakfast is sufficient for the price of EUR10.00, expected more with a name Das Fruehstueckshotel. Is probably more in reference to the long breakfast serving hours of 7a-12n. Parking in designated space is limited, street parking allowed. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Not accepting credit cards is annoying, especially to international travelers.

Good value for money...
Reviewed By Sascha KClean and functional rooms right in the center of Büsum with parking more or less right in-front i.e. Motel style. Breakfast is a real "Schlemmerbuffet" and absolute value for money, something you should not miss out on. I can also strongly recommend the restaurant for dinner, where we ate twice and both times the food was extraordinary good! All in all a very good value for money.

Lovely vibes from the 50's
Reviewed By HansHbg_SverigeRoom and the whole hotel was very well thought out and decorated as in the 50's. Room was of good size and had a small pentry and a small balcony. Even the bathroom was of good size and eqipped with a good shower. Staff wass fiendly and kind. Breakfast was good. Free and easy parkingnear the hotel. Short walk to centre and the sea. Wifi worked excellent. We had a very pleasant stay.
