Went to Horseshoe but no food Monday. Tried La Roma. Zero ambience. Mum had salmon, lovely. Dad had rack of lamb, lovely. I had veal, very tough, even struggled with steak knife. Complained and was offered another one, no thanks. Mum had tiramisu, excellent, and I had white chocolate profiteroles, very nice. Bottle of red, over £80. Not impressed

What a revelation, loved it from walking in, homely, smart very clean and very friendly. I had muscles yummy, hubby brushetta and garlic bread to share, I had fillet steak Rossini that was simply, delicious, hubby had chicken millanase, he loved it I had Negroni and he had pint peroni all wonderful and served by Mark our waitor.Highly recommended.Dear Easey Thank you, for such a lovely review. We came for lunch today. My daughter and her family recently moved to the area and we were visiting from North Yorkshire. (I was the guy who tried three grappas.) Thanks for a delicious lunch, and for making us feel so welcome. Weâll certainly be back!

Friends and I called for lunch today. The food was devine the service was excellent and the whole experience was fantastic. The price was good too. Thanks for a lovely afternoon.

Vegan review: Great location, great service, lovely staff. Vegan options not marked on the menu and wasnât very forthcoming with options when I asked what I could have, as he said everything in Turkey has meat in and they only do vegetarian dishes as theyâre in England. I opted for the imam bayildi which was served with houmous instead of yogurt. Food was tasty, a bit on the pricey side for a Sunday afternoon.

Took my elderly mum who has dementia and the staff couldnât have been more helpful without making us feel the need to explain my mums condition We were there for lunch and the 2 course menu for just under £10 was excellent value We ordered soup to start followed by a main course each and soft drinks Everything was served promptly The food was served hot , was very tasty and ample portions Can recommend and we will definitely go back

Lovely place but not quite achieving its potential. Looking for a local restaurant but failed to fully impress. Reserved table squashed against the counter with no room. Visited this family run traditional Italian restaurant over the weekend. Small but perfectly formed. Staff are warm and engaging. Full menu if traditional favourites beautifully cooked and reasonably priced. Definitely one to return to!

Lovely environment.... I had the spicy red lentil & mungo pea Dahl with rice and chapatis...The waitress warned me that is was quite spicy and that the chef describes it as 'flavoursome' and it was indeed. It was a very generous portion, I couldn't manage to eat it all. The latte was also very nice and the tap water was served with ice and lemon in a lovely glass... I would definitely eat here again...Thank you crowded house....
