We are situated in the lovely village of ringley, stoneclough, where we over look the river Irwell. We have lots of walking routes surrounding the pub. Close to train and road networks that connect us to bolton, Manchester, radcliffe and bury. We are both

Once again a lovely meal, roast dinners where delicious as was the cheese pie, everyone enjoyed the food, the only thing that disappointed was the apple crumble, as it wasnât very sweet and wasnât the usual standard. The staff are friendly and helpful, will definitely be back I. The future

I attended the Swan&Cemetery for a family meal to celebrate my motherâs 90th birthday and we were completely satisfied with the experience we were given. The food was incredible, the 2 young girls were attentive and polite even singing a surprise happy birthday to my mother which was a kind, thoughtful touch we did not expect! Everything was spot on, will definitely be returning. Thank you so much for making my motherâs birthday so special.Hello Keith, Thank you for taking the time to review us, it's great to hear you and your family had a lovely time celebrating your mothers 90th birthday with us. It's also nice to hear you enjoyed our food and the staff looked after you. We hope to see you all again soon. Kind regards, Management.

The food is what keeps us coming back here!! This trip was no different. Perhaps the staff could stop grouping together at the till and having a good laugh whilst your waiting to be served...which took 10 minutes to do, but the place is immaculate and standards are always high. When you do get served the service is perfect.

A beautifully restored building c.1905 Now open as a ground floor Pub (self Service for food and drink), 1st floor Restaurant (The Kitchen) - all served to you, and 2nd Floor Cocktail bar 'Fallen Angel' for Clarence diners. We also have our own micro brew
After waiting over forty minutes in a near empty restaurant ( yes, that should have alerted us!) we went to find the waitress to order. From arriving as booked it took one hour and ten minutes to get our main meal. As most of us were on parking meters this caused some anxiety. Two meals got sent back as they were cold. One other meal wasnt eaten at all, my crushed peas were stone cold. All served on cold, very chipped plates. Went to find my own salt and pepper. I would have complained about my stone cold peas but with only one waitress running up and down the stairs with the sent back meals, there was no-one to complain to. This is not particularly cheap food so I expected better basics, like hot and timely food. Pudding was OK but not enough custard on it. Very disappointing group outing. Wonât be returning.

The Parkfield Inn offers fresh home cooked, English food with a range of locally brewed cask ales. All served in a warm comfortable environment with friendly and effecient staff.
The food here is always amazing, and after a little disappointing end on our previous visit, the lovely landlady certainly made amends this visit. On arrival she immediately came over and explained why the chef had left before our grandaughters were unable to order desserts last time we were there, and offered all of us a complimentary dessert at the end of our meal, which I feel was a lovely gesture and restored our faith in this lovely local establishment.Looking forward to our next visit already, trying to work our way through the delicious Tapas menu.Certainly recommend a visit for anyone who hasn't yet experienced this lovely place,

Rick, Hettie and the team would like to welcome you to the Daniel Thwaites's Black Bull situated on the outskirts of Bury, close to Ainsworth Village. We believe in the traditional English Pub offering a warm and hospitable atmosphere, where you can meet
We ate here with friends as we just wanted a pub meal and a couple of drinks. The pub itself is nice enough and the young waitress was friendly and helpful. Thereâs a really good selection on the menu, particularly as we donât eat meat, there was lots of choice.Itâs such a shame that the chips arenât homemade as this would have made such difference. Overall, the food was ok and both the food and drink was decent value. We would return but a few tweaks would make this place so much better - real chips, nicer wine glasses and more choice of beer and wines. Moretti or San Miguel would be great!Hi, We are glad that you enjoyed the menu selection and we are happy that we met your dietary requirements. We pride ourselves on making sure everything on our menu is homemade and fresh food. We would like to assure you that our chips are peeled & hand-cut on site everyday! We currently stock 11 wines, and 13 beers, including our 5 cask ales, so as you can see we are trying to make sure there is a good selection for all to enjoy. However we welcome the feedback and are always looking for ways to keep our customers happy! We hope to see you again soon. Regards, The Black Bull.

American bar & grill, family friendly with the best burgers & shakes in town. We also have a wide selection of alcoholic drinks
As locals, we come to Buffalo semi-regularly for a fab burger & relaxing drink. The service is always friendly, reliable & helpful, plus we always enjoy the music selection & relaxing atmosphere. As a fussy burger eater, Iâve always enjoyed what Iâve had & Iâve tried several now from the Buffalo burger (classic beef) to the Herbivore (vegan option) & the Cluck Norris (chicken). Iâve also enjoyed the chicken strips several times & most of all, the fries are the best in town! We love having the Buffalo Bar and Grill so close to home! Keep doing what you do best!
