We asked our waitress what she recommended and we followed her advice and ordered the Crispy Pork Loin Schnitzel. It was delicious! The Cleveland Fried Walleye was also very good. The Warm Raspberry Crisp and the Vanilla Beach Creme Brulee were a nice sweet ending. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, especially on a snowy evening.

We were staying at Punderson State Park and this is near by, four of us for dinner and all were happy with our meals. It was a busy Friday night and service was acceptable. We did not wait long for a table. Good bread and salad, they ask if you want cheese on the salad, but they did not tell us that cheese was extra. I would have gotten cheese anyway, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time.

Susan and Jerry Wayman have created a cozy coffee shop with an extensive menu of coffee drinks, fresh bakery, lighter fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner, ice cream and wines. Antiques decorate the shop. Seating at large tables is good for groups while smaller tables are available for singles or couples. Wi-Fi is available for those who wish to enjoy a cup of coffee while working on projects or surfing the net.

The food at this restaurant is always wonderful! The staff was kind, intuitive and courteous! The food is fresh and delicious no matter what time of the day or night you arrive! The menu has a huge variety and I have never been able to have an appetite for dessert…too full and satisfied.
Delicious! We have been to this restaurant several times and never been let down! We come to Ohio one time a year and always make sure that we stop in at this restaurant!

I've taken my daughter there twice, the first time, she swore she would never eat the food again. I figured maybe it was a bad day, so about a year later, she tried it again, looked at me, and threw the entire meal in the trash!! I will say that I do go there for the cakes, and on hot days in the summer, but when you go inside, they ALWAYS seem to be short handed,, and such a long line.......pain in the you know what!!!!

Countryside Home Bakery is a wonderful full service carry out only bakery. I was able to purchase fresh cookies, banana bread, zuccini bread, cranberry walnut bread, lots of types of fruit pies, and of course bread by the loaf. This is a bakery that has wood fired ovens and the results are as tasty as any I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. The location is in the middle of of the country and has ample parking. You are sure to find just what you are looking for.

that is all I have the restaurant has been around for some time.
First time here. Friends told me about this place. The food portions are large. The prices are excellent for what you get. All the food we ate was excellent and fresh. Can't go wrong at this place. We will come back for sure. This place is great on a budget.

Have eaten here at least ten times over last 3 years and always found the food very good, friendly service and reasonably priced. Had dinner this Tuesday with French Onion soup which was very good and hot. I also chose the "Caddie" burger w/bleu cheese which was fresh char grilled and delicious. My wife had a chicken wrap which she enjoyed and brought half home. Most of the time we stopped on Fridays for the all you can eat fish fry which has always been very good. We will keep coming back.

Punderson remains one of the region's quietest gems, offering a natural oasis of activity and relaxation - and only 40 mins from downtown Cleveland. I've stayed in the cabins and lodge here several times over the years, and never had anything less than a very positive experience. The Lakeside cabins (as opposed to the parkview cabins, which do not have a direct view or connection to Punderson Lake) are terrific - nice screened-in porch for the summer months, two generously-sized bedrooms (one with a bunk bed), and an open room for eating/playing cards/watching TV combine to make for a restful retreat. The park itself offers a ton - a quality golf course, hiking trails, a beach, a wonderful lake for fishing and swimming, and the new addition this year is a super-cool boardwalk that traverses almost the length of the entire lake. The lodge is old-school, state-park functional, but has been updated, has a great pool (indoor and outdoor), has a quaint little lounge area and a smoky, wood-burning fireplace in the winter. Like I said, Punderson is one of those stellar, quiet gems for the Northeast Ohio landscape, and I have to say I'd like if it stayed that way.
