Japonica is a remarkable restaurant, one we were recommended recently and I am so glad that we visited it! I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the food served. We had a sashimi platter, avocado and mixed fish sushi, tiger prawns, tofu, a caramel pancake dessert, and a matcha tea creamy dessert. The sushi and sashimi is the best in town without a doubt, it is also the best I have experienced EVER. The tofu was also very delicious and it is a dish I haven't tried before so I really did not know what to expect. The matcha dessert was also very unique and so rich and creamy I just wanted to keep on eating more! The service staff were also very friendly and attentive and our experience was nothing but great. The chef and staff clearly work very hard and I hope more people will go and visit Japonica. Thank you Japonica for an amazing experience, we hope to see you again soon.

Excellent overall quality - the interior is welcoming and dynamic, the food is VERY delicious and the staff is quite friendly. Stefani - the waitress on shift helped me choose from their amazing menu and I'm glad i took her advise. Will definitely visit again.

Nothing great here. The ambiance was fine but not great. Service was good. Food was average. We stopped here on our way back to our hotel and hoped for a more classic outdoor eating experience. A convenient restaurant if you are staying at the Grand Hotel Plovdiv. I ordered chicken on skewers with a salad and fried potatoes. It was ok and provided a reasonable meal but two of the chicken pieces were raw when cut open.The young waitress was very good and efficient.I would return but be more circumspect about the food I ordered.Thank you for your words, your opinion is very important to us.
