Nice place to go. Try the pork skewers with the garlic bread they were amazing. Unfortunately we sit at lunch and the sun was extreme driving the beer out of our pores more quickly than its supposed to go down. The place is pretty popular and it's hard to find spot under the umbrellas or the nice looking small pavilions. The staff is friendly but a little bit slow considering the place popularity.

Really good service. Very kind staff. Meals are big and delicious. My last time there was very interesting, there was Mexican night, restaurant was full, meals was Mexican, they offered mexican drinks too. Restaurant offer one of the biggest and newest children place with control. Fully recommend for couples with children.

We stopped in here before going to the monastery. It's got nice covered seating with pretty traditional decor and the menu is extensive and traditional Bulgarian.The food was all very good and reasonably priced. We particularly liked the Italian-style Kavarma and traditional flatbread.There were a few adorable, little kittens hanging around the outside on the lookout for some scraps - but they weren't pestering the patrons and appeared to be in good health.

Great restaurant, offering us our own room (most customers prefer the courtyard terrace, but for two families it was great to know the kids could run around without upsetting anyone).Food delicious and generous portions.

I was attending a business dinner hosted by the Mayor of Gabrovo in this restaurant and you presume a place must be good when some of the most important members of the local government and community are regulars there. I can say with confidence that the restaurant did not disappoint. The food was nice, the service was excellent, our waiter spoke English, which is not a given in a town like Gabrovo, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Keep in mind though that the place is small, so finding a table is by no means guaranteed.

The beer was fabulous! The food wad very tasty. Pelmeni wery crispy, beer sausages, very rich and fresh, snezanka was delicious. Service was friendly.

Being hungry after a long drive from Bansko to Rila we decided to have lunch at this nicely located restaurant...just adjacent to a fast flowing river. Menu, as usual in Bulgaria, quite extensive, something which always creates some doubt about food quality since such extensive menus demand serious mise en place in the kitchen. We selected two regional dishes accompanied by some bread. Food was served in a timely manner and at the right temperature but lacked any distinct taste. Of course we couldn't complain about the price but we left disappointed and wouldn't really recommend this restaurant to anyone.

An unique and pleasant ambiance, tasty food and lovely people around. We spent an evening with friends there and had a really great time. I would highly recommend it for a quick lunch break, escape the hustle and bustle of the city with a refreshing drink or just go with some friends to get some beers!

We had a nice lunch today in this traditional bulgarian restaurant in Tryavna. The food was good and the service kind and efficient. We are giving three stars to this place as the price was a bit too expensive bearing in mind other similar options in the area
