I'm sure Pacha is much more interesting on a weekend evening. Went there with a business colleague for dinner. The facility has a pleasant ambiance. On the evening I visited the kitchen offered an enticing special, but as we were in a hurry we asked for a menu choice that would take less than 20 minutes. The result was an order for pizzas. They weren't all that special, but they were good enough. The Four Seasons featured nice toppings, and no one can go wrong with a salami and mushroom. Service was good enough. I'll need to visit on a weekend - I'm told its much more lively.
Had an office lunch with my staff at Cosi recently. There are many sandwich and salad offerings, with an Italian flair. Among us we experimented with the salads, the burgers, and the paninis. The paninis win! The atmosphere is great (although a bit warm) with great style. The service was satisfactory.

We were quite excited to visit the restaurant because of numerous recommandations of friends. However, on a Sunday, at around 2.00 pm we decided to have a couple of drinks and snacks at Geny's Beach but first of all we were astonished about the limited and secured parking space. Especially parking along the Chaussee d'Uvira and also outside of hotels and restaurants is very risky. The restaurant was quite busy and we found a place at the counter of the beach bar. We waited about one hour for the simple dish of fish and chips. The quality was average but however prepared with a lots of oil. Also the order of the drinks took ages. However the price value ratio is quite acceptable but one must have a lots of patience to be served.
This place is an excellent option in Buja. It's huge, mix open-air and covered, nicely designed, live music, large screens scattered around (was great for the World Cup), good food and drinks, hip crowd - seems to be the place to be in Buja these days, Recommended!

Lake shore grill & pizza restaurant
Great for family eating out. Big green spaces, a swimming pool, they have tortoises and crested cranes to keep the children entertained. Across the adjacent road is Lake Tanganyika and if you are lucky, you will glimpse hippos basking. Theu have a variety of food on offer. The pizzas are great and so is the grilled Mukeke fish. For the beer lover, I'd recommend the fresh Primus draught beer. All in all I was satisfied with this restaurant with its helpful stuff.

On the bujumbura tour the driver took me to this bar-restaurant to see the beach and to have a drink, the place is good, good atmosphere full of interesting and expensive people for the locals.
