The Molesworth Arms re-open for business in Dec 2015 after been shut up for 2 years! Our simple aim & ethos was to run a friendly pub that consistently serves good food, local ales/ciders, quality wines in a comfortable & relaxing environment. We build cl
Limited opening hours means that you really need to check beforehand and book to avoid disappointment. Welcoming hosts and attentive staff. Excellent local ales on tap and wines to suit most palettes. Perfectly cooked duck breast with a hint of Far East fusion, blackberry and apple - yummy. My sea bass was the best I've ever had - fresh, tasty and succulent. Lemon posset that I was VERY reluctant to share. Good value for quality local produce. This out of the way treasure is worth seeking out.

A family meal of genuine quality. All ages were catered for, and different tastes, but everything appeared to be freshly cooked, from the excellent authentic Thai curries, through normal scampi/lasagne/burger type choices, right down to chicken nuggets and chips. Staff were very good with the children and the free ice cream was much appreciated. Can't believe that we have avoided visiting the Globe for years because of the smokers outside and the unprepossessing entrance area - our loss, the food and service were very good indeed, and wonderful value.

Very friendly and welcoming.... They managed to fit us in although they were already fully booked, as long as ate early...which was perfect for us.

Called in whilst on holiday in Bude. Really pleasantly surprised by this place. The setting in the small restaurant was lovely and the food was even better. Steak to die for and amazing chocolate brownie to finish. Top marks to the chef. Great evening

Pub itself is quite grotty , not at all inviting. Quite a big menu . We had cheese ploughmanâs and a lamb pie ... the ploughmanâs wasnât great .. mild rubbery cheese with salad and pickle , however my partner loved the lamb pie. Plenty of outside seating but car park only fits about 8 cars but Budes main car park is across the road. Friend said if sheâd been to bathroom before food she wouldnât have eaten as were filthy .. however I never went so didnât see the bathrooms myself. Wouldnât rush back !

You can enjoy delicious home cooked food every day, Try our lovely roast dinners on Sundays and why not round off your dinner with a scrumptious home made dessert!
Stumbled upon by chance and the place was full. Local beer and well kept. It was steak night and Iâm always a bit wary. This was absolutely superb. Perfectly cooked, sides which are extra but again executed well. The cost was bang on and listening to people book for again for the same week speak volumes. The staff were friendly and helpful. Exactly what a pub should be. Thank you chef.

My wife and I have spent a week in Cornwall. This is a beautiful County with lovely, helpful locals. So we decided to round off our week with a nice evening meal at the Wideford Manor hotel restaurant. Without doubt this was probably the worst dining experience we have ever had. The restaurant is nothing more than an aircraft hanger sized cattle market. The noise was deafening, people were pushing and shoving their way to the food. Incredulously we were expected to walk the entire length of the hotel from our table to the carvery. The food was lukewarm and so 15 minutes after walking in we had eaten and walked out. Avoid this place like the plague.

A fabulous setting opposite beach and great to watch the sunset. So many gluten free items on the menu and went back a second time whilst in the area. The fish pie was the first I had eaten out in 15 years as it contained no gluten. It was packed full of fish, piping hot and delicious
