I’ve been going to DANS since I was a kid at various places in austin. When they opened in Buda I was excited because they remodeled the old one on Ben white and now the parking is terrible. So it’s been open for several years in Buda and when it first opened it was the DANS burgers I grew up with. As the years have passed the place has been run by younger generation and the food has gone downhill. I get tired of going in and seeing the kids playing around while cooking and then my food comes out wrong undercooked or the bread is so soggy from all the grease it’s soaked up. It’s sad to see it just go down. The cashiers are rude and don’t even say hello. My wife and I barely go now because we never know what we are gonna get. Been going for 40 years and very few of the old crew left they took the friendliness recognition and pride with them!!!!!

We've been taking our two grandsons here for ice cream for 7 years. We love the memories we create with them. They loved looking for their favorite kind, sitting one the twirling stools at the counter, and eyeing all the candy in the huge candy cabinet.
I've enjoyed the chicken salad sandwiches and the colas, made before your eyes.
We also get our prescriptions in the attached pharmacy. Dr. Tammy knows us and takes good care. You can look for her display at the annual Christmas "Trail of Lights" in Buda.

Go here often for sweets. Good parking, and lots of options of choices for donuts and other delights. Also, fritters, kaloches, and coffee. Friendly staff. Get your order out quickly and with a smile. Just a few seats, so it is more fit to get your donuts and go. Still a good place.

Delicious coffee and coffee drinks in the most adorable setting! Buda is such a cute town and I am glad that there are cute businesses like Summer Moon right on Main St.

This is a true local favorite. Breakfast, lunch and dinner crowd. Not a big place by any means, so get there when you can and enjoy a nice a nice variety of tacos, enchiladas and burrito dishes. The chips and salsa starter is very tasty. Friendly staff.

The coffe is like all the Starbucks, the seating area is like all the Starbucks. My husband and I will sometimes end our date nights here if we still have babysitter time to burn. I left my purse here one time and when I went to get it the next day all it's contents were still in it. I had cash in my wallet and it was all still there, so I guess I can say the staff is honest and friendly.

ANGIE AND LOVE THIS RESTAURANT! We ordered the fish fry (Cod) with green beans, coleslaw, lemonaide and unsweet tea. Presentation was not the best. More like just tossed into the plate as to positioning the food for appeal. But to their defence, the meal was in fact supurb, all the way down to the cole slaw. Fresh, juicy, green bean were a delight and our server so very polite. His name is Victor. Really nice guy.. You have to visit whi Le in or passing Buda TX (an Austin TX suburb)

A Trailer Restaurant at the intersection of FM 1626 and FM 967.
I got the 1/2 brisket wrap and the 1/2lb sausage wrap.
The brisket hit on all points, considering it was already chopped for you. Thankfully, they did not serve barbecue sauce on the wrap, instead they gave you a variety of really good sauces to apply yourself.
The sausage wrap, was far less impressive. Seemingly, store bought sausage that appears and tastes like it was not barbecued, smoked, or grilled. More like steamed, microwaved, or boiled. It was cut lengthwise, with both halves put back into the wrap (it may have been 3 halves cut lengthwise), causing you to constantly, readjust your grip. I kept wondering why they just didn't leave it whole.
The tortilla was one of the best I have ever had. The perfect vehicle for executing a bbq wrap

Had gone a couple of years ago and was not impressed. Went again after seeing a crowd outside and was not disappointed. Good wait service. Nice outdoor setting, although they do have a lot of indoor seating. Enchiladas were cooked well and were tasty. Chips and salsa was very good and the margaritas were tasty. A much better impression this time.
