Good but more Customer Service needed
Reviewed By tarzangavBuckow is a charming town. Pity like a lot of towns in the Eastern part of Germany that the staff did not speak English. It is out of the way. We came from Berlin and this was a stop over. When I produced my reservation the lady advised me that they were booked out. It was only after several attempts with my best Deutsch that she finally agreed to let me into the hotel itself! The room however was excellent, the evening meal was sufficient for 2 hungry visitors and the breakfast was very good. They helped me when I had car problems the next morning. If only they could be a bit more professional with their service then I would give this hotel 5 star.

Amazing place
Reviewed By Rony RWe stayed for only one night and would stay longer. The rooms are very nice and clean and the host was truly friendly and kind. One of the best places in our trip. Highly recommended! The prices are not hight at all. We would defently come back to Buckow and to this hotel. Ohad and Rony

Reviewed By faozanrizalThis place is so attractive, with an old fashion mill on the riverside is just an invitation for us to stop and try the menu. They serve quiet rustic German food with local authenticity. We try the fish soup since Forelle is many from this area, the taste was good but we demand more experience on old style culinary. A bit long in service might be due to tourism district so they have to serve many people. The interior bit old style but they have the room near the river which maybe has a good view of this small river and mill.

Reviewed By MrsPiketBergschlöschen hotel & restaurant is located uphill in Buckow and family owned and operated since 1992. The establishment is dating back to 1900. The once famous Kneip-Kurort Buckow is at a beautiful lakeside location but clearly not recovering from its DDR years. Decline can be seen everywhere. We choose Bergschlöschen restaurant for dinner and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The menu is traditional German with a focus on regional cuisine. The restaurant is decorated with kitsch items. Service is adequate and friendly. Food is well presented and tasty, a true value for money restaurant. We recommend Bergschlöschen to anyone who seeks nice regional German food accompanied by a good glass.

Reviewed By Nicole_WottonHabe das Wochenende mit meiner Mutter auf der Beautyfarm Sadler verbracht und um es kurz zu machen : ALLES richtig gemacht. Hatten das schnupperwochende gebucht, dazu die Farbberatung - einfach ein schönes Ambiente und unheimlich liebe Besitzer und Angestellte. Jeder Wunsch wurde möglich gemacht und so werden wir sicherlich wiederkommen! Ich weiß gar nicht was am Besten war, der Saunabereich lud zum Verweilen ein, die Spaanwendungen waren zum Träumen, der Salat mittags nebst Wein und Dessert einfach nur lecker und die Zimmer sehr chic und gemütlich.

Wonderful location
Reviewed By Allison PRooms are functional. Bathrooms very small. However, this is made irrelevant due to the excellent location, the use of boats and the lake swimming. The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful. Their attitude makes this a really relaxing choice for a holiday. Also, the town of Buckow is lovely, good restaurants and useful shops.
