Christopher's has wonderful food, service and ambiance. A restaurant of this quality is usually found in the big city, but Bryan/College Station is fortunate to have this gem in our midst. I would suggest making a reservation or get there early. It is usually crowded. The steak and snapper are two of my favorite entrees, but I haven't found anything I didn't like, and the menu changes seasonally to keep it fresh. I've heard it is too expensive, but it isn't any pricier than a steakhouse and not as expensive as some I've been too. It is also a great place for lunch. I highly recommend Christopher's World Grille.

I thought I was going to hate this place. We boys in the family flew in for the A&M/UNM game with reservations here for 8:45 Friday night. They were PACKED. No table, no room at the bar, no nothing. But the hostess staff moved heaven and earth to get us seated. They could not have been better.
Our waiter came out and got everything going from there. He was simply the best. The bar staff made sure we got a couple of wonderful bottles of wine at the lower end of their wine list.
The food was so good that it"s hard to do it justice in print. We split an artesianal cheese plate and steak tartare. Five cheeses, all kinds of wonderful accompaniments (the bacon jam is delicious). And the tartare was the best I've ever tasted. For entree the guys had the filet and the pork (wow, that pork was good), and loved them. I had the chicken-fried FILET (of all things) and it was marvelous. I'd order it again and again.
Then dessert, after-dinner drinks, and we were out the door with one of the best dining experiences imaginable. This is top notch fine dining, boys and girls.

This used to be my top and only place I ever want to go. When old owners left I feared the worst. Since then I have been here a few times. I didn't notice too much of a difference in quality at first, but after about the third time I didn't think it was up to par so haven't been back in a long time.. Until today. The place was not crowded at lunch, but service was very slow. I ordered the crab cakes which were barely even warm and tasteless. The polenta tasted like soap and the sauce around dish was not good. I had to ask for it to be warmed up. A friend had quiche which was actually cold and sent it to get heated. It took a long time to get it back. So disappointed this used to be the best place in town. I hesitated to leave a negative review and hoping this was a fluke, but need people to know in case this is typical or if owners want to change things.

Full menu offered 24 hours a day Tuesday - Sunday!
Maybe better than Torchy's? We had a very satisfying lunch here, choosing the El Presidente (the default char-flamed chicken was excellent), and the Juan Juan, which was quite tasty except for one piece of overly fatty pork. Salsas available at the salad bar may be required to adjust the flavorings to your liking.
Surprisingly, on a Thursday at 1:00 PM, there was no crowd.

This was the first time I visited Fargo's Pit Barbeque at its new location. This new location has more parking space and considerably more seating room. The brisket and potato salad were very good, and the service was exceptionally friendly and quick. I will return.

If you’re looking for great tacos head across the street to Fuegos. Fuegos is my go-to taco place when in College Station, but they don’t serve margaritas so I decided to give Mad Taco a try. The raspberry margarita was perfect! Taco portions are smaller, so be sure to order two. I order the Carne Guisida...it was fine. Nothing spectacular.

We're passionate about great food, great drinks and great hospitality. We believe in fresh ingredients and big flavours, delivered by caring, friendly people. And we know that a lively environment makes it all feel and taste better. At Grub we use quality, fresh, and differentiating ingredients. Our buns are baked from scratch every hour. We grind our signature blend of chuck and brisket in-house daily. All of our sauces and dressings are homemade. We are proud to source local when possible. We believe in the space between... when you're not so busy DOING that you have time for laughing out loud, small moments, and big dreams. So be yourself and enjoy the ride.
Tried this place on a Saturday afternoon group of 7. Ordered our food at the counter and they assign you a table number. Burger , fries and onion rings were good. This place feels like a knock off of Hopdoddy. The skinny fries don’t taste fresh cut. Onion rings I wouldn’t order again. Lot of Tea choices. The food was good but not as good as Hopdoddy.

This place is worth the wait if you get there at a peak time. The food is so savory and feel good the only way you could leave and feel bad is from overeating! Their hamburger steak is one of our favorites! The burgers are perfect too! And the pecan cobbler is worth stooping for even if you’re not hungry!!

I meet friends for lunch here weekly. It's not the greatest location in town as their parking lot is horrible; needs lots of work. But the rustic atmosphere is a long time culture. I dined there today, then also placed a carry out order for my wife. Both were fixed to perfection as we like them. It was a very cold day in the 20's, so the big fireplace felt so good. If you carry one of their punch cards, you get a free meal from the menu after ten punches. I got number ten today, so next visit will be free. That's a good deal!

Was very impressed with our dinner here in almost every possible way. The prices were surprisingly reasonable, the fish was prepared perfectly, service was excellent, and the sides were very good, too. Desserts (key lime pie and bread pudding) were excellent.
My only complaints would be that their beer list is very weak and the portion sizes were relatively small. Still, the grilled redfish special with avocado and pico de gallo was really excellent. Would go back.
