Restaurant Au Grand Forestier is located in Watermael-Bosvoorde in the East-South of Brussels. Furnishings and decoration provide a pleasant atmosphere. Service is adequate and friendly.Au Forestier offer à -la-carte in brasserie style and traditional Belgian-French cuisine is served. We came on a weekday for dinner and the place was very busy, a good sign. We went for a classical Tartare-Frites and were not disappointed. Food is very well presented and the wine was nice.Recommended.Thank you very much and see you soon!

The lodge was created and opened in September 2008 by 2 childhood friends, Hubert & Alexandre, who wanted to offer a reception place in their image of bon-vivant. With its terraces around a nice pond, The Lodge is a unique venue in Brussels. A magical pla
I've been here before with colleagues, but this time I was on my own. I never felt uncomfortable, service was very friendly and the food was great. I ordered the chicken salad, which was probably big enough for 2 people! The restaurant also has a very nice atmosphere!

Quick& efficient smiley service, very agreeable. I enjoyed a big casserole mussels cooked with white wine, typical delicious plate in Belgium and, a pinte of draft beer. I really appreciated this simple and nice dinner.

I moved to the neighbourhood several months ago and having been systematically trying out the bars and restos - but this one I frequented twice in a week! It is no doubt the best bar and brasserie around there. I am a great fan of Belgian's most classic of beers Leffe Brune and this "off the tap" in this bar is as fresh as a daisy. The Irish steak with the pepper sauce was sublime and still under 20 Euros. For the budget conscious, the boules in tomato sauce are above the normal fare you get with this traditional dish. The place is cosy has a great atmosphere and service is very decent and polite. This is one of those places you feel comfortable in as soon as you go through the door and that's why I write this to share with others.
