Went here for a business dinner but the next day I had serious intestine troubles, and unfortunately (and after some very careful consideration, among other things asking around in my immediate surroundings), I can only relate it to the fish I had at this restaurant (or the salad). The place looks nice, the service is excellent, the food is well presented but it all seems to be decoration only rather than authentic quality. The food tasted average, the prices are certainly not. Maybe we should give it the benefit of the doubt. We can all have a bad day, after all. But still... There are plenty of other excellent choices in Brussels.

We had a great meal and the service was fantastic. It's a Italian family run restaurant and the pasta is homemade.

Nice place to have a pizza. Very difficult to park in the neighbourhood but pizzas are really nice and the atmosphere is cosy. Large choice of original pizzas. Service is a bit slow but for the rest all is nice.

A family restaurant. Home made pasta made with Love. The most delicious tasting pasta I have ever had. Silvana the daughter gave her recommendations which included two specials her mother makes in the kitchen. Tonight a black squid with shrimp and a porcini with spec. My husband and I shared both and loved every bite. We finished the meal with tiramisu...delish!

The time to read the menu, we were offered an aperitif, an "improved", tasty Prosecco… Nice surprise. The choice of meals is large, each of our group of four found his preferred lunch. Light for ladies, heavier for men. I went for lentils with smoked pork knuckle. Unfortunately, the juicy piece of pork knuckle I was dreaming about appeared to be just few pieces of meat dropped on the lentils. The taste was nice but it was not what I expected. My friends largely enjoyed their meal. Which was promptly served, no long waiting time to see first food arriving. At the end we were offered a Grappa or Limoncello. With winter outside, hard to refuse... Overall a positive experience, booking in advance for the lunch time is strongly recommended in this offices area.

Resto Verso

Reviewed By Tim E

I think I may have just found my new favourite restaurant in Brussels! I had heard quite a lot about the Resto Verso from several friends but as it is a little bit outside the city (Woluwe St Lambert/Stockel) it was only recently that I managed to find an excuse to go there with a business colleague for lunch. It was certainly well worth the trip and it was delightful. We were greeted with an extremely tasty amuse-bouche of broccoli soup. We had just two courses from a very interesting choice of dishes of the day which were beautifully prepared for us in the very clean and tidy looking open kitchen. It was good to have it served on piping-hot plates and the extra gorgonzola sauce for my veal, brought to me hot from the stove by the chef, was a nice touch. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. In fact, everything about our lunch was perfect and it was very reasonably priced. It is quite a small restaurant and not surprisingly it gets very busy so a booking is definitely advisable.

What may look like a neighborhood restaurant is actually comparable to the best gastronomic restaurants of the city. Discrete, with a few tables settled in a cosy atmosphere, the restaurant offers the dish of the day as well as a rather limited but sophisticated menu. The dishes are extremely well presented and delicious. Compared to many other restaurants, this one offers an excellent value for money. The service is very good, but would be even better should the owners be more forthcoming/warmhearted/friendly.

After having lost contact, as they moved location, I found this beautiful italian restaurant again. The new location, in residential Kraainem area makes it easily accessible and you shouldn't have trouble for a parking spot. As before, nice and friendly staff, beautiful sober decoration, comfortable tables and the perfectly chosen atmosphere music make your stay rather enjoyable. Of course, the meal was as expected, prepared and served with class, tasty and portions where far substantial too. Happy to be back!

Nice italian place, had a seat outside, weather perfect so started of with a aperol spritz (7,5 euro) and then took the lunch daily menu.Starts with a stick of grilled vegetables in a tomate sauce with some cheese on top, nicely presented, tasty and goes well with the pizza bread. Main was a scaloppina with two pcs of meat with some grilled cut vegetables inbetween in a mushroom sauce with pasta / cheese on the side. Very good. Service got slow when the resturant was full but if in this area a good place to visit

Wow, this place was great...AGAIN! It was my second visit here in 2018 and this time was just as good or better. The owner showed us real hospitality throughout the dinner. My friend ordered something he wasn’t crazy about and the owner brought something else just so he would be pleased! What great ownership! For appetizer I had smoked burrata with grilled veges. For entre I had the squid ink spaghetti with red tuna tartare again) and it was absolutely fantastic. For dessert the caprese chocolate cake (amazing!). House recommended red wine (don’t remember name) as well as espresso with dessert truly excellent too. I will be coming back if I get to visit Brussels a 3rd time!
