I went for dinner by coincidence and it was a lovely surprise. Nice and elegant restaurant with well dressed tables. The staff is young, smiling and dynamic and they truly pay attention to your wishes. There is a very nice set menu (with a choice between to starters, mains and desserts) of the month at 37 ⬠with refined, very colourfull dishes with respect for seasonal products and a french cuisine touch. The cassolette of veal sweetbreads and wild mushrooms was outstanding and the Rose fish fllet, poached oysters, spring onions, saltwort, beurre blanc sauce with black garlic, crustacean coulis quite surprising but very tasty, the dessert : Shortbread, lemon cream, clementine and shizo sorbet was the perfect way to finish dinner. The advice and choice of the sommelier was outstanding and I was quite surprised they served a belgian champaign, Rufus, quite difficult to find !

Strolling neighborhood, which I loved and found this quaint and elegant small bistro.Folks friendly and menu delicious. The worst racist restaurant in Brussels. Saw some good reviews and went there yesterday. Experienced racism at the restaurant by waiters. The waiter literally threw the plates, cups, drinks and food on the table, never explained anything and answered very shortly and moody to our questions while serving very kindly to other Western tourists. Food was terrible too. If you are an Asian you should think twice before you go here. Ruined all the good memories that I made in Belgium. My wife and I dined at Restaurant Den Talurelekker one evening during our visit to Brussels last summer. It had good ratings on TripAdvisor and was located about midway from our Airbnb apartment and the Grand Place. It serves local Belgian cuisine with some traditional dishes, which are excellent. The waiter was very accommodating and helpful in assisting us in making our selections. The prices were very reasonable. Be prepared to pay in cash. They do not accept cards. It was an excellent choice for us.

Located in the district of Ixelles, my girlfriend and I went to eat mussels and check other dishes out of their menu. The price for the mussels is around 22⬠and you have plenty to enjoy and you can really appreciate the product quality. They also can explain you where the products are from. The duck on the picture below was well cooked and it was really good meat. I truly recommend it for meat lovers. This plate worth 19â¬. Staff is very friendly, nice and at your disposal if anything needed. In total for two people, with two main dishes, one bottle of water and two desserts. It has cost 59⬠which is a reasonable price for such a quality. You however need to reserve in advance because it is very often full. You can count a bit less than a week to call and reserve a table. The only one item which would be negative is the bottle of water: 1L worth 6â¬. It is quite expensive.

French-Belgian cuisine with fine service. We had lunch and ordered a number of main dishes only. My codfish was fresh and accompanied by fresh vegetables. Since it didn't come with any sauce the plate tried to emphasize the natural flavor of each of the ingredients. In this respect the fish, for my taste, lacked a bit of flavor. The second dish ordered by one of us was a chicken in estragon sauce. That was quite tasty. Another dish ordered was the Irish filet mignot. This was mediocre! The sauce was fine yet the meat was not tender at all. The grilled chicken with French fries was served with a sauce tartar. In general the restaurant's concept is fine - we had bad luck with the meat. The waiter was fantastic and really did everything possible to ensure we would enjoy the lunch even offering to further cook the filet mignot. Service was 5 stars, the codfish and filet mignot 3.5 starts, the chicken estragon 4 stars.

Tonton Garby gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived at his restaurant. We helped us choose our sandwiches and was very thorough in explaining the ingredients. Theyâre very generous with the cheese and meats so the sandwiches are very tasty. I loved #7. We went back to eat there again after a week and I was surprised that he recognized me (despite serving hundreds of customers in a day) and said âI never forget a smileâ

We like to try the best restaurants when we visit different cities and Le Rabassier is one of Brussels' best.It's menu is choice of four degustation/ tasting menus for various fixed prices. We chose the second one at â¬90 each. Each menu contains similar dishes with the differences being the number of dishes increasing with each step in price.The food was excellent and the wine list extensive.While it was excellent in quality we found the flavours quite strong in some of the dishes (mainly the Parmesan )which took from our total enjoyment.My favourite was the venison which was sooo tender and delicious.It is a small venue with seating for 20 and there was 16 on our night. Making a reservation would be advisable The service was impeccable. Highly recommended

We visited this restaurant with our friends in the middle of Sep after 9 PM. Were impressed by food (steaks were fantastic especially), beer (good selection with different type of taste) and very good service. Do you need something else on top of what is mentioned? We do not! So enjoy please!

I am sorry to mark poor rating for overpricing on sparking water no matter how good at the cooking. The one litre SPA costed me 10 euro but the same one in supermarket is selling at 0.62 euro. Itâs multiple 16 times. Does it make sense? Maybe your restaurant was starred but frankly speaking itâs not my first time to try similar quality restaurant even much famous and better. Even famous hotel , Mandarin oriental hotel , itâs grill house priced their wine in multiple 3-5 only. Usually, I trust the professionalism in the restaurant and such that I didnât check the price and to follow the suggestion. Also, I donât expect such overwhelming price of water in Brussels. It wonât be happened in Paris and London. I am quite disappointed for it to make comment here!!! The staff serviced well with good suggestion on wine pairing with the starter. Impressive. One point is to remind that tuna is not fresh enuf. The main course for the pork is cooked well but the curry sauce with peanut seems not intense , not Thai, not japan, not India one. Cannot tell how it taste indeed. The side dish esp. the potato is pan well, crunchy surface and soft inside.
