This restaurant was so good that we visited on two occasions during one week. We chose to sit outside under cover because the weather was so good. There is an outside grill area well served by staff. On one night I tasted Spare rib the other a comprehensive mixed grill. The wine menu was good, choosing an Alsace on both nights. The staff were cheerful, could speak English and were very professional. I can well recommend this place for a meal. It is located not too far from the centre of Brunico.

Stopped here for a light lunch during a day of strolling the Christmas markets - what an excellent idea! A large choice of wonderfully prepared southern Italian street food (savoury and sweet). Everything was perfect - from delightful service to very honest prices. My only advice would be don't lose patience if you can't get a seat inside (there must be about 10 places...?). Get something to go, I can assure you that you won't regret it.

Situato all'interno di un parco naturale, un po' difficile da raggiungere ma ne vale la pena. Immerso nel verde il ristorante è gestito da una coppia molto gentile e cortese. Cibo ottimo e prezzi molto convenienti.

we just came across a magnificant castle and entered it, the stuff was very kind and explained us about the menu. We took the 4 dishes dinner and shnitzel. We were surprised with the plates and the desert was really something else! Thanks for a lovely time, and if u r coming here this is definatly the best place for good food and atmosphere. We called into this little eatery today and really enjoyed it. The host was exceptionally charming and made sure that we were very welcome, despite arriving just short of closing time. The food was really tasty and the service was second to none. The restaurant is cosy, clean and nicely decorated. Highly recommended and thank you!

What I liked about this place is the staff are friendly and welcoming. A very warm and inviting restaurant that is reasonably priced. The food is just okay. They serve normal South Tyrolean dishes that proportioned very well. If you are hungry and cant find anything better this place is absolutely fine.

You will need to have someone local or who lives in South Tyrol for you to know and stumble across this small cafe as it is absolutely not easy to locate in the mountains....luckily my partner is from the area so we could navigate to it pretty easy. This cafe is extremely simple and basic but the cakes the lady owner produces are mouthwateringlg incredible. There where 4 of us sampling the delicacies of these fresh wonders and the owner kindly produced a little sample plate for us where we could taste a vast array of her baking. We had Italian coffee and sparkling water to accompany the sweets. The cafe has a good sized seating area and you can get the cakes to go. Enjoy eating some fresh cakes here and you will absolutely want to take some away.

I had lunch on weekend when visiting Val Pusteria and Braies lake. The place is beautifully located on the mountains. If the day is clear, you will have great views of the surroundings. Reserve well before, because the place is small and may be packed with locals. I only had a seat because of a declining customer. Food is very germanic here. I had schnitzel and a very good Bavarian beer. The service is kind and slow. It is really a place to relax. Cost is fair.

Hard not to get impressed by the beauty scenario in which Oberaut has found its nest. The forrest, the two gooses brave guardians, the lovely and delicate historical decor of its small dining rooms , they are all reminiscing of the good old days. You shall beook in advance here, as this restaurant is quite well known and attracts a strong community of regular guests ,also locals .Staff is very friendly, service is enough quick and wine list well done and with correct mark ups. Up to here all will be enough to deserve a five star rating , but food has yet to come . I must admit , I am not fond of deep fried things, and here it seems most of them are coming with something fried, A superdelicios beel tartar was the best dish of the dinner. Inconcludent wild sald with fresh cheese ( fried again) , a deer goulasch just so and so and the desserts that are better to be avoided .So you will enjoy your occasion here, the location alone and the service are worth the extra drive to reach this restaurant, still the food can be better and in this part of Italy competition is quite high.
