Went with friends for dinner at their suggestion for Bohemian foods. Food was hearty and tasty. They have a great selection of bohemian foods including goulash, dumplings, sausage, and pickled beef.
They offer daily specials.
There also are some seafood items on the menu.
You must same room for dessert including kolacky and cheesecake.
One point is that they don't take credit cards.

Thank you for your interest in Emilio’s Tapas. Emilio’s Tapas is an authentic Spanish Tapas Bar Restaurant conveniently located in West Suburban Hillside. Spanish cuisine can best be described as a mix of French and Italian influences; tapas are small dishes ideal for appetizers or when ordered in rounds build a complete meal. Our menu consists of regional Spanish specialties, original dishes created by Emilio offered in both the dining room and bar for dinner daily. The restaurant is casual with spacious dining rooms and an energetic atmosphere accentuated by colorful Spanish murals, music and tiles.
Fantastic tapas dishes. 4 of us had 8 tapas and not a bad one in the bunch. Nice wine, band and dancers gave a little slice of authentic Spain to the evening. Prices were very reasonable for this upscale restaurant in the heart of the...MoreGracias for your review and rating, we appreciate it. Please stop by soon, happy hour is M-F 4:30-6:30 and we have bar bites from $1.95 in our bar!

As Brookfield residents, we visit Irish Times fairly regularly, and often bring friends. This is a real, independently-owned Irish pub, not a chain restaurant, and so has an authentic feel. While the burgers are always good, and a bargain on Mondays ($5), I recommend the more Irish fare. The corned beef and cabbage dinner and the Irish breakfast are my favorites. The shepherd's pie is also very good, although even the best versions of that tend to be a bit bland. Add a slice of Irish bacon to the tomato and grilled cheese! The fish and chips (AYCE on Fridays) are excellent, quality flaky cod in a light tempura-style batter. A reasonably wide selection of beers and ciders on tap for a relatively small place. They used to make wonderful bread pudding with whiskey sauce, but the last time we ordered it, it came with caramel/chocolate sauce, which was fine, but not as good as the traditional. It can get crowded on Friday and Saturday evenings (or during special events/music performances - even rather crazy around St. Pat's day!), and the kitchen sometimes gets busy, so the wait for your meal to arrive can increase, but the service is always friendly and attentive. Try going early Sunday afternoon, especially in winter, when it's less crowded and you might get a table near the fireplace. The outdoor patio in back is great in warmer weather, entirely fenced-in and private. Over the years they've given in and added some big-screen TVs, but the volume is usually kept down, so minimally distracting. We've been coming here since smoking was allowed and many of the servers still had the Irish brogue. The BN Metra train station is just outside their door, so come visit Brookfield!

Vie, named after the French word for life, offers seasonal, contemporary American cuisine inspired by Western European cultures and rustic fare. Chef and owner Paul Virant focuses on year-round seasonal eating with a menu featuring housemade pickles and preserves. Locally grown, artisan ingredients from Midwestern family farms are showcased. The restaurant is open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday.
Visited here with business colleagues. It's tucked out of the way (seemed almost in a residential neighborhood), but well worth looking for. We had an amazing dinner, from charcuterie to dessert.

The service at Mattone's is fantastic and the food is great too. From the great pasta dishes to the wood fired pizzas you really can't go wrong. I love marinara sauce they serve with the bread it's such a nice touch. Great local place with some great weeknight specials to boot!

My girl friend and I wanted to try restaurants in LaGrange and saw this one on main street. Service is fast and friendly. My friend had the Baked Blueberry French Toast. The bread is dense and was not what she expected. She needed the compote addition because it was so dense and dry. Not a good choice. I had the Aussie Chicken sandwich. The chicken was not seasoned and I had to use the salt shaker which I never do. It was average sandwich. Portion size was good. We both decided we probably wont return.

I always have a great meal here. Although there is not a HUGE selection on the buffet table, every item is worth the trip. Especially noteworthy are the potato pancakes, the cabbage rolls, and the fried chicken. As it was Sunday, they had two special items; roast duck and pork cutlets. While the duck was quite good, the cutlets were outstanding. Even though I was starting to get filled up. I felt that I had to try the mushroom soup. I was surprised to see that it contained pasta shells, but the soup was delicious. The table had many vegetable and salad choices which my wife ate and enjoyed, but I could not spare the room in my belly.
The desserts are nothing spectacular, but I never have much room for them anyway.
When we went on Sunday morning the average age of the clientele was around 80. So you know you're getting good value for your money.
Nothing fancy. Just good food.

Stopped there for dessert after a great meal at Burger Antics. Two of my favorite flavors of all times are there including Mackinac Island Fudge and Salted Caramel. If you haven't been there yet I encourage you to try it out.

Really like this place a lot . This is Probably the best tacos shop outside the city. The service is always the best. The food is great quality, I just can't say enough about this place. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor. Stop in, and try as much as you can!

I have been eating here since I was barely old enough to hold a fork. Their food is so good! Their lunch buffet is great and the food choices rotate so you don't get stuck eating the same thing each time you visit. The hong sue chicken is my favorite meal here but the sesame chicken is a close second. Their service is fast and friendly. I dine in and take out food here and it is consistently good. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual. I would eat here every day of the week if I could.
