A friend I was visiting in Riverdale suggested we dine at Becco Fino. It was a great choice. There were wonderful options to choose from on the regular menu as well as the some really appealing selections on the specials of the day menu. We shared a salad to start and it was large even after splitting it in two. I had the fussili and thought it was wonderful. Again, the portion was very large so half found its way to my lunch table the following day. The service was very pleasant and attentive. We were not rushed to turn the table over even though the restaurant was filling up early on a Wednesday evening. I would definitely recommend it as a favorite in Riverdale.

Pizza fans and fans of unique pizza experiences must go here. The pizza slice (pie) is huge and so unique. In addition to tasting really great, it makes for a tremendous photo opportunity that your family and friends will love. Place is very small and can get pretty crowded, so if you go during the week or not at a prime time, you shouldn't have to wait too long. Some outdoor tables as well, and a park across the street that you can bring your pizza to. Staff is super friendly and prices are very reasonable. Slice (pie) is always made fresh to order. A hidden gem in an old Yonkers neighborhood. Closed Sundays. Accepts credit cards. No bathroom. A real treat.

Meat and cheese calzone will change you life. I have eaten here for over a decade, as a college student. My wife gets the salad which comes with a loaf of bread and yummy dressing.

Kingsbridge Social Club is a wood fired pizza bar/restaurnat located in the Bronx. Our menu is italian in style serving items such as wood fired pizza, meatballs, salads, pastas and much more. Our bar serves craft beer, cocktails and wine.
Wow! What an interesting place. By being a "social club" you would think that it was private, that is not the case. "Social club" at Kingsbridge means just that "social". From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a warm hello and how do you do by the owner. The atmosphere is relaxed, contemporary and during warm weather they have an outside patio to enjoy. We started with drinks as we looked over the menu. They have several local IPA's available which are very good and of course your standard bar libations. We sampled several items and each were delicious and plentiful enough to share. The "Hot Cherry Pepper Wings" are a must try. Their presentation on an old stand by was a great experience and tasty. The Caesar Salad was fresh and flavorful and the pizza was awesome. They have a wood buying oven and you can watch your pie being prepared and cooked in the oven. The taste was delicious and unforgettable. The menu consist of; Bar Snacks, Salads & Sandwiched, Pizza, Pasta and Dolce. Happy hour Monday - Friday 3PM - 7PM.

I was having a romp through the famous Authur Ave. I was running out of gas and needed a place to repair. Enzo's is classey but that does not mean they are impersonal. Sitting at the bar was has much an experince as waking the street. This is what I can only hope for when its one time experience.

This long time Italian favorite is always a surprise in continuing good food and value in a heavily tourist area. The site itself is a welcome respite after touring lots of Italian shops and food stores. For those of us who love Italy and visit often, this restaurant recreates the atmosphere of an Italian plaza, with the food, wine and service reinforcing the feeling. Fun place for all.

Arthur Avenue section of the Bronx. It was fantastic!
The Arthur Avenue/Belmont section of the Bronx is a NYC treasure and worth the detour. With Manhattanâs Little Italy nearly subsumed by Chinatown, this Bronx Little Italy delivers the goods. Our favorite restaurant is Antonioâs. Just off of Arthur Avenue, do not miss this restaurant. Each Boro has a throwback Italian restaurant. For us, this is the one in the Bronx. First and foremost, the food is excellent. Tasty, tasty, tasty. Service is excellent too and we enjoyed meeting Melissa when we ate there. If Marisa Tomei had a kid sister it would be Melissa, including the (authentic) attitude. All the Italian favorites are on the menu from fried calamari to several different parmigianas. Fish, chicken, meat and pasta of all types - served al dente - is well represented. We did not get around to the pizzas. Next time. And, what is an Italian meal without vino: our Montepulciano was delish and reasonably priced. Finally, from the time you walk in till the time you walk out you are family. I never shook so many hands in my life.
