Our traditional restaurant A l'Image Sainte-Anne, renowned place in Vannes area since 1948, offers you traditional and creative meals made of fresh local food. Our menu mixes seaside and countryside spirits in order to provide you with the best from Britt
This is a good restaurant that can be happily recommended - certainly it is a class apart from the restaurant in the Best Western next door. A L'Image Sainte Anne is a traditionally styled restaurant that serves good food and fine wine in smart surroundings. Both the scallops and the lamb were splendid and our only minor quibble would be that cheese board was a bit unexciting - but the desserts on other tables looked much more interesting! I would most definitely eat here again.

We were on a day-trip to Quiberon via Vannes and stopped here for lunch, attracted by the reviews and quirky offer: only oysters, lobster, and frites (french fries). Pluses:+service is attentive even though we were in their adjacent room+oysters were pretty good for the price+simple but high quality lobster, and i had the lobster-beef burger, delicious, filling, interesting!+dessert is included in the price if you go for lunch midweek!+they allowed our dog to lie underneath our table. To improve:-atmosphere: there is no A/C nor fans nor ventilation in the adjacent "buvette": it was at least 30*C in there, stuffy and unpleasant, we were sweating halfway through-the place could definitely be cleaner.Still, if you are there just for the food (and it's cool outside) go for it!

We had a wonderful meal at this beautiful restaurant. My wife took the âinspiration Menuâ which included langoustine and pigeon. I ordered the menu one step higher which included another course, and that was a lobster dish. Everything was superb and the service was perfect. I think the lobster dish was the best dish we had on the entire trip. Chef Olivier Samson created an amazing dish which included whole pieces of lobster, confit of onion, nectarine, and a curry of egg-plant. It was absolutely delicious. We met with him at the end of the meal and discussed the meal, which was perfect in all respects.

There are not so much adress in Vannes now for a good meal and not to expensive.La Source is now a knowed (and for good reasons...) spot.Ther are two rooms and try to get a table at the superior floor. There is a nice menu but also some daily suggestions. The Fish is very good and the desserts are often original.Very good choice of original wines.

Located on a narrow pedestrian street in the heart of the beautiful old town, this little gem offers contemporary high quality dishes with wonderful flavours and with local ingredients. We took the Chef's Surprise Menu and didn't regret it, the dishes were perfectly executed, tasted heavenly and the service was relaxed and impeccable. The wines paired with the dishes were right on target. The restaurants interior was elegant and charming. Hands down the best one star michelin restaurant we've been in.Do make a reservation. You won't regret it!

This wine shop is at the top end of the old town down a small street opposite the Hôtel de Ville but if youâre wandering the streets up that way at lunchtime itâs worth a visit. We had a salad and the sardine platter which was large and delicious with a very nice glass of white wine. The shop manager was a very friendly guy. Also itâs air conditioned inside which was lovely as it was roasting when we were there.Highly recommended.merci beaucoup de votre visite

While staying in Vannes for two nights we visited this restaurant last night. Tucked away in a little side street you receive a very warm and friendly welcome and shown into a modern stylish restaurant. Lovely fish canapé to start then followed by three excellant courses - the aubergine and Parmesan crumble was a real highlight as was the sardine wrapped in deep fried potato. Mains were excellant , we enjoyed duck , pork and steak. Lovely choice of desserts or cheese. All courses presented beautifully . Very nice and reasonably priced choice of wines . Would highly recommend this place - tiny gripe was very quiet atmosphere and then eventually some very quiet background music was put on which improved things . Very good service and prices. Thanks so much for took the time to write this kindly return. Sincerely.

La Tête en lâAir is a small (and quiet) restaurant in the old part of Vannes that has two options: a five course and a seven course meal, both of which are selected by the chef and are available without or with wine pairing. The seven course meal is the same as the five course meal (appetizer, two fish courses, a meat course, and a dessert) plus a cheese course and a second dessert course. With a very nice amuse bouche, you actually get closer to 6 and 8 courses. The wine pairing is nominally 4 and 5 glasses (all selected by the sommelier) for the 5 and 7 courses respectively but can be modified. Each wine was magnificently paired with the very attractive, creative and delicious courses. An informative description of the food and wine is provided when served. The service was excellent. We will definitely return when we are next in Vannes. Reservations required. Note: in Brittany, it seems to be the rule that there is only one sitting so the table is yours for the night.

Wonderful little place that you could quite easily walk past without even noticing it, great food at a good price but itâs the service that really tops it off, so friendly and accommodating, the staff kept us entertained and took time to chat and have a laugh 5* all the way, very highly recommended !!! Merci beaucoup pour vos mots si gentils!! Nous sommes ravis que vous ayez aimé, revenez quand vous voulez!!!Bon séjour en Bretagne et à la prochaine.
